Can’t order when store is busy
When a given store is busy you can’t order through the app. This is the opposite of the logical approach a business would have as it would save time for the busy staff working in person in the store. Instead you go to the store since you can order on the app and realize that the entire place is packed with people waiting on to go orders because they couldn’t order on the app. And a line out the door because one staff member is stuck taking all the in person orders. Horrible way to run a business and will definitely cost customers

Decent app but some convenient features missing
The app works well! Only issue I have is that when placing an order, it doesn’t show your name on the confirmation page, it shows the long number which makes it annoying to show staff when picking up. Hope another update can change it.
*HORRIBLE* App Redesign
The Dave’s Hot Chicken app was easy and pleasant to use just a few weeks ago. Then some terribly misguided executive or some utterly psychopathic developer decided to update it and turn it into the current monstrosity. I cannot think of the last time I’ve encountered an app redesign has been so horrifically unpleasant, that has impacted usability so negatively, that has so drastically reduced my desire to give my money to a particular company.
The menu layout now requires endless lateral scrolling. The sliders to select spiciness levels take up far too much of the screen and are simply unpleasant to look at. I won’t even bother complaining about my inability to see and repeat recent orders without a login as I’m sure it’s part of some data mining scheme but in general the new app is awful. Please DO LESS.

No more Cauliflower NotChicken Available in the App?
What happened? Vegans everywhere are angry. The NotChicken is all I want or need. The NotChicken is wonderful.
Also - password saving in the app and website doesn’t save to “Dave’s” but to “pushinc” or something, which seems sketchy. Also makes it hard to find saved password in Apple App and Chrome site.
Is Dave’s Sauce vegan? Please make sure to add details to nutrition info on your app & site. Is the NotChicken fried in the same oil as actual chicken? I sure hope there’s a discrete fryer for vegan food. Is the potato bun vegan? Are the fries 100% vegan (discrete fryer)? If I add spice to my NotChicken, is that spice vegan?
Please add vegan cheese sauce to the menu!!!

Flight! Late night snack fire! My first time today had to come back and try shakes.. I’m waiting for them now but iam sure there good..open late 👌 and shakes stop at 1:45 👌 I’ll be back had to download app and you get free drink👌next time maybe xtra crispy but either way Bomb.
Dave’s Hot Chicken is BOMB!!
I’ve been waiting for Dave’s to open up in Greenville, SC. I’ve always made the drive to Charlotte just to eat this delicious chicken. I’ve never had a bad experience from here. Even when it was packed for its first week I went twice and it was on point both times. A must try for foodies

When choosing the spice level, the whole box should highlight red instead of just the borders, you can’t even tell when you’re trying to customize your order if you clicked is actually what you’re choosing

I frickin’ love this place, cooked fresh , so you have to wait, and my only complaint about this place, it’s a big one, when I first came here about a in June 2024 , they were serving large pieces of chicken in the sliders, and after eating here every week with the same order, they have reduced the size every time I order… That’s a huge deterrent, they need to fix immediately or the value drops dramatically.. :)

Great customer service
The team at the Hunt Dave’s Hot Chicken not only make great chicken they also provide great customer service. My friend lost his wallet. Thought he may have thrown it in the trash. He asked if he could go through the bags in the dumpster. A few guys offered to help. After a few bags he gave up and went home. A few hours later those same employees showed up at his door with his wallet. Yep they kept looking for him after he left, found it and actually drove it to his house.

Sign in with Apple
App works greats but creating and account is a really hard process. You can’t create an account using Sign in with Apple. Meaning that you have to create an account by entering all your information and then linking it with Sign in with Apple. However that doesn’t work either on their app or website.
Looking forward to an update so that the sign in process is a lot smoother.
