Missing info, no human to reach
I’ve been using the app for 7 years and never cashed in on any points. They either expire, which I don’t think should ever even happen…or seem out of reach for anything good. I still use it a lot for the convenience of making a reservation. I just went on and all of my reservations are gone! Including one I made that it’s coming up in 2 weeks…GONE. There’s oddly only 2 old reservations showing from 2019 (I have made well over 50–100, including at least 3 in the past month. So all my points are gone too. It takes so long to accumulate points and now I have zero. There’s no one to talk to…they have some bot who “helps”, only if you ask exact questions- none relating to my issue. I’m so annoyed. Honestly, I’m over the app at this point and I’m wondering if there’s another similar one. Seems like a scam to get me to think I’m gonna earn something for using it. Where’s the customer service? How do I get all of my reservation history back along with my points?

Be very careful
Booked a table through this site which I have used with success before. Table was with the Cinnamon Club for Tuesday lunch. Over the weekend two of our party went down with flu. Tried to cancel first thing Monday and they washed their hands of the process and told me to call the restaurant direct. Did so and they advised of a £300 cancellation fee, £50 per head when the set menu is £35. In other words sneaky, hidden and massively expensive. And of course they have my credit card so can bill be without consent.
So has worked ok in the past when all went fine but frankly I will never book through them again, always phone the restaurant when where any hidden charges will have to be made clear and never give them your card details in advance.

Endless Eff-ups
One thing after another fails on this terrible app. Won’t accept any of several good credit cards. Fails to connect to servers. Makes you miss your reservation because the table you want is lost while your struggle to get it to work. Do better!
Easy to Use
The app is very smooth and has a lot of restaurants listed to check out. I like that you can easily make changes to reservations, contact the restaurant and get directions.
Rewards
I Love using OpenTable, finding new restaurants near and far.
My only complaint is the new reward system. Why would they take away $65.00 to use at any of these fabulous restaurants and replace it with $16.00 at Amazon??? I never shop online and have almost 10,000 points 😐

Great place to go before the Oilers game or a Concert!
Excellent choice for dining and socializing before an Oilers game or a concert at Rogers. Highly recommend it!
