  • I Love Chase

    The first time I ever dealt with Chase was when my mortgage was bought by them. I was skeptical at first but what could I do. Well after around 10 years of paying off my 15 year mortgage my wife decided to divorce me. I moved to a different city where I had family and started over. The first thing I had to do was to find a new bank. I new Chase was a good mortgage lender so I figured I would open a bank account online. Chase was great and now I had new checking account. The next thing I did once my divorce was finalized was called my local Chase branch and set up a meeting. I went in to the branch and they were so friendly. I was greeted right away and she suggested I talk to a Private Client Advisor. Next I was sitting down with the local branch a relationship manager named Olesya. She sat down with me and talked about my financial planning ideas. I had no idea but knew I had to invest. She recommended that I talk to Brian with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management. She helped me set up an appointment right away. A week later I was sitting down with Brian looking for help. We had a great conversation and he was able to talk me through my options. I felt very comfortable with my local branch because I am old school and need someone I can trust to talk to. They also helped me with the Chase app which I find easy to use and very informative. I did invest in Chase and will continue to do so and encourage you do as well.
  • Zero Support for Joint/AuthUser Credit Card Views

    It’s not 1960. We have a two income household and my husband & I use one credit card account to manage all our standard expenses. The hoops we had to go through to basically get & manage a “joint credit card” are totally crazy. We have a joint checking & savings already with Chase. We have the same home address and all the other standard married people financial commonalities. In order to get a shared credit card with Chase, my husband had to get the CC and I’m an “authorized user”. If this was as bad as it got, it would be ok. However! I can’t see any transactions as an auth user. We BOTH manage our budgeting spreadsheet (see my first statement - it’s not 1960). We also both had individual Chase logins from before we were married, with our own accounts there too. To get around this, we basically had to go link up this CC through Mint just so I could see transactions. WHY IS THERE NO OPTION FOR A PERSON TO GIVE AUTH USERS TRANSACTION VIEW ACCESS?! Surely a husband & wife sharing a credit card account with both parties wanting to see the info is not usual. Please make this less annoying and work in a modern way that assumes we’re partners and I’m not a trad wife. Thx

    I have gotten the hang of Zelle and electronic payments. I may have written two personal checks last year and 50 business checks. We make wire transfers to China, France, Israel, Ukraine, and Domestic without any issues. I appreciate the fact that I can download PDF statements. I highlight what is tax deductible. I have not yet tried an accounting software program but will this year. Chase approved my business over four years ago. We didn’t know where we were going or what we were getting into. We were required to get special permission to open our account, since we expected to enter a highly regulated and sensitive business. Approval from NY came quickly. It has been a struggle but Chase put up with me. Our R&D is about complete and we will be a real operating company soon. It will be interesting and exciting to see how our Chase relationship evolves once we become a globally valuable Billion Dollar Chase Customer. I visit my Chase branch every Friday and make a $100 withdrawal. I am always excited to visit with my Chase tellers. My branch is located at the end of my street. Sometimes I walk my dog and take him into Chase with me. They used to have dog treats, which was always a warm welcome. I would be grateful if Chase brought the dog treats back. Thank you, Mark
