  • Just ok

    It’s okay and reasonably bug free compared to the Bank of Melbourne app. Lots of bad design though. If banks are going to close down all their branches bc they’re “going digital”, then invest all that money in an actual in house development team and keep your app regularly updated. Sick of these big companies outsourcing devs only when you feel you the need to update your app.

    Particularly it has a terrible layout with all the important things buried behind screens. I for the life of me cannot workout how where the find atm feature is… this seems like a top 5 button that should be obvious. The fact that I can’t copy my bsb or account number individually is ridiculous. This is nightmare when filling out a form because you have to past it into a note app, copy the individual number, and then past and go back to delete the note. Again, basic feature. Also the widgets are useless. I don’t need to know my last transaction on the fly. I need to know my balance. Why is this not a widget and yet the other is? Again, it seems like someone who doesn’t use internet banking designed this app.

  • App needs updating!!!

    Keyboard in the app dosent work and the chat bot is not working 😳😳
  • App no longer works

    Have been using the app on an iPad for years and happy with it. Since the last update I now have to use the website and the app crashes before getting to the login screen. I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling but it makes no difference

    Opened up a non resident bank account today

    It was seemless and bank customer services officer, Nakita Bracker was polite caring and patient. She guided me through all the steps and answered all my questions. Thank you

    Dear Westpac,

    Thank you for being my security, role-model and friend. It has been a mutually beneficial business relationship for 30 years, and I proudly wear our association as a badge of honour. Yes, there were times when it looked as though I wasn’t going to make it through a couple of life’s hazards such as divorce and serious illness, but you stood strong with me throughout the bad times, and those bad times only served to strengthen our resolve to get through it together. And when we did, we were both highly rewarded for our patience. The good times naturally returned in my case. I am very humble and proud to continue my journey with Westpac.

  • Horrendous

    A full website pretending to be an app! Plus slow. Hard to navigate. Very difficult to set up, even. I spent over an hour on my iPad and finally got it going. Hubby has spent over an hour on his non apple tablet, still trying, and now it’s locked him out of his phone app!
  • Insane hold times

    The app is good for the things it does. But some things it tells you to call. But now hold times have been made insanely long (20 mins is common) presumably to drive you back to online. So things, like signing up for PayID, are essentially impossible without going nuts listening to someone telling it’s much easier to do stuff online for ages !

    I love the app. But hate that my mortgage is with a bank that invests in climate destroying fossil fuels.
  • Overseas benefit appreciated

    I live overseas and the app now makes Australian banking so much easier, saving time while assured of my banking security
    Design of app is world class, perhaps superior to my US banking apps now using face log on is great!
