Absolutely Do Not Recommend

I do not recommend this app for first time tries, especially if you are not sure cars are available in your city.

The app will take your money to sign up for the service, and would refuse to refund the sign up fee a few days later when you find out they have 0 cars available in your city.

Very disappointing I wouldn’t recommend this app!!

I opened up my account today, I was having trouble logging in the app although I could log on the website I reset my password deleted and downloaded the app again as it was instructed to me by one of the adviser. After trying many times it finally worked on the app I managed to book a car for two days for £136 with discount £109 after just 20 minutes or less. I received an email saying my account is closed and that I would be refunded, I called and ask why this happened no one had an explanation. I received an email stating that my account was closed because of “ the nature of the security concerns raised and to safeguard our security procedures” this is what was sent to me! didn’t make any sense as I provided everything and my account is verified to make a payment in my account you had to go through security I always do with my bank so this response did not make any sense I called and called and call to speak to the advisors and they all had nothing to say. I wouldn’t recommend this app if you want to rent a car just rent from the seller this was a waste of time and money.

Not enough cars, don’t waste money on application fee, it is non refundable

Bad experience

Horrible service and bugs in the system.

UPD: they have responded me and refunded both charges, but the application was not completed and currencies issue was not resolved.

I tried to create an account and fist, they messed up with location. It was Boston instead of London. They fixed it, but then they messed up with the currencies, as a result I was charged twice. In Dollars and in Pounds. And I still see prices in dollars on some pages. And now they can’t approve my application because there is a problem with currencies. And don’t want to refund application fee. Because “Application fees are non-refundable”. I understand if I would provided incorrect data. But they messed up. And it really looks like a scam: we failed but we won’t give your money back, and neither we activate your account. They don’t answer to emails or messages sent from their application, when you call them they say: we can’t answer your call due to high load, send us emails. (I’ve just received the response for one of my messages with “we can’t refund application fee”) I’m very disappointed. And I’m not going to use this service and will insist on refund. Who knows what problems could be in future with this application if the registration is already so messed up.

Terrible customer service

First using this rental app is was great and convenient though that didn’t last long once I lost my phone along with my cards and email, when I revisited the app I was met with a red flag restriction that prevented me from renting out with them anymore, with an app as highly recommended as this one you’d expect their customer service to be as dependable but that’s far from the case as they shown on numerous occasion their incompetence in identifying and resolving issues were baffling. I figured the lock was due to their membership fee which I had mentioned to them each call that I couldn’t see the charges because I no longer had the card nor access to my email so they concluded that because of that minor innocent mistake I’ll remain banned from using their services and that it was irreversible which is outrageous because they are the experts who run their app???. Not only i initially reached out to fix this on October 4th only to get this response October 18th which was mainly because I kept calling and reaching out because it was like I was being ignored the entire time and now the case is oh we can’t help you for the exact same reason I had mentioned. It was a very disappointing and discriminatory experience I wish on no one very unprofessional stuff like that could easily get voided to say it irreversible is nothing short of lazy and deceit

The app wouldn’t let me or my wife sign in

The cloudflare security protection would not let us sign in on either iPhone, this was after we paid the subscription. Spent an hour on the phone with the support team. What a waste of time!

Terrible app, rejected application for no reason

They rejected my application and didn’t provide refund. They didn’t remind me that with a temporary G2 I couldn’t apply for it. So I switched to another company and it works!

Don’t sign up if you’re Canadian

Zipcar went ahead and charged a $30 application fee then promptly rejected my application. The reason why? They don’t accept Canadian licenses. Now where did it say this when applying even though my location and license information was clearly entered before hand. It’s a scam, don’t fall for it

Price is double of what they advertised

They advertise CA$14/hr and CA$100/day but there is no car for this price after signup.
All cars are over CA$20 or more and $200/day after taxes.
Not to mention membership fee of $9/ month wth.
This is very scammy.
They charge application fee of $30 on top of it after document submission. Never using it as it costs more than rental car.

Not trustworthy

This is the worst car rental experience I have had because it did not even begin. They did not accept a valid govt issued license uploaded on the app and refused to explain why a paying customer is refused service arbitrarily.
