  • Good. But not perfect.

You would think that if you see a scanned image of your mail, that you are getting a view of all the mail being addressed to you. However, there have been times that my mail was delivered to a different address, and luckily the person receiving my mail at their address would deliver/return the item(s) to me. When this happens, I noticed that the mail that was supposed to be delivered to me, but wasn’t, I didn’t have any scanned images in my in box. Not all the mail that you are supposed to receive is scanned for your address, which is very disappointing. It doesn’t happen with any frequency, but it does show that there needs to be improvement in the process.
There are still the issues with scanned mail being delivered to an address other than mine, but at least I have an image of what I was supposed to receive but didn’t. And it doesn’t prevent mail from other addresses for other postal customers arriving in my mailbox.

  • Loses Sight of Packages

I don’t know if it’s human error, problems with barcode reading, or just computer glitches but a lot of my packages are staying in the same place for up to a week with no movement at all. Most importantly, the most recent update has completely broken this app.: I updated it a couple of days ago; today is June 18, 2024. After the update my packages were deleted, and I cannot search for any more packages. When I enter a tracking number or go to where it has your previous packages that are being tracked, it sends you to the USPS website on your browser and tells you that your subject to the policies thereof then when you get there and then it says the service is not available on the USPS site. It is the USPS online website but the website is down as well. What is going on USPS?
If you have hired someone new to do the coding on your app & site S/he needs to be fired immediately, and replaced with someone with real, verifiable credentials.

  • Package stuck

My package is stuck from 15 days
  • Informed delivery

I absolutely love informed Delivery! It’s an incredibly helpful and handy app that revolutionizes the way you interact with your mail. The feature that allows you to preview all incoming mail is a game -changer, providing a sense of control and security. No more worrying about mail theft,- you know exactly what’s hit it your way. One standout feature is the ability to report missing mail directly through the app. If you spot a piece of mail in the preview that doesn’t make it to your mailbox, you can quickly notify the Postal Service. This added layer of accountability is a real comfort. Moreover, the convenience of being able to purchase stamps, and other postal services within the app is a time-saver. it’s streamlines the entire process, making it a one stop solution for all your Postal needs. Informed delivery has truly made my life simpler, ensuring I stay informed and in control of my mail, Highly recommended for anyone looking to enhance their Postal experience!

  • Hold Mail Issue

One of the best features of this app is the Hold Mail feature. It’s very convenient to select the dates I will be out of town and request a hold mail, especially because I travel often. I’ve even forgotten until the day I’ve left on my trip, quickly opened the app, and successfully put in the dates to have my mail held. It all worked perfectly, until it didn’t. Now, when I “check availability” for my address, I receive an “error” message. It doesn’t say that my address isn’t eligible, it just says “error”. I have reached out and asked for help, but the problem hasn’t been solved. Now, in order to have my mail held, I have to go to the post office and fill out a form, or call an automated system and have it arranged. I miss the convenience of using the app. Very disappointing that I’ve lost this service.
