Nothing special and with a issue

The app is just a regular parking app. Yes it does responds well. It is simple to use, yes. However, the inability to add 1 more hour to the parking rate really pains me. The only alternative it to pay for a full overnight fee, which is way more expensive that the day fee. So if you have to stay longer at work, or you are running late, you can’t add more hours and are subjected to receiving a parking ticket. Way do go. Terrible customer care.

Extend the Max Time

I’m a student at a local university and rely on ParkMobile to pay for daily parking on campus because it’s convenient. However, I’ve received multiple tickets due to the app’s two-hour maximum limit per session. While I understand time limits in certain areas, the issue isn’t about parking duration—it’s about the inconvenience of having to renew every two hours.

As a student, my schedule often includes back-to-back classes or office hours that require me to stay in one spot for more than two hours. If I can pay for multiple sessions in the same spot, why not allow me to pay for the entire time upfront? The current system is particularly unfair for situations where I can’t access my phone, like during class, and renewing a session even a few minutes late results in a ticket.

This process creates unnecessary stress and financial strain, especially for students already struggling to make ends meet. It would be much more equitable to update the app to allow users to pay for longer periods in advance. This small change would prevent avoidable tickets and make the experience much more user-friendly. If I know I’ll be parked for four or five hours, I should have the option to pay for that time upfront, instead of juggling incremental payments or risking a ticket. Please fix this!

Unfortunately, our app is bound by the same restrictions that the parking meters are, including minimum parking times and no refunds. I understand your request and strongly encourage you to reach out to the owner of the parking area and let them know that you would like more options with your parking.

Will not scan barcode on gate ticket

I had to get a gate ticket to enter the parking lot, then wanted to switch over to this app, it shows scan gate ticket, but after 20 minutes of trying, it continued to say “there’s an issue with the code you’ve scanned”. This is stupid, I had to use the payment machine to switch to a day pass so I could leave the parking lot and return again. Prior to this episode, it has worked fine to reserve a spot.

Awful

Told me i was successfully parking and suddenly it showed i didn’t even pay and the parking didn’t even register. Such a buggy app. Often tells me i can park as i’m already paying in another area when im not?? Incredibly annoying.

I guess we have to use it..so it’s okay

Park mobile app is a necessary evil in my Jersey city neighborhood since the city took away all of the permit parking. But anyway I use the app a lot and two things that are annoying. I have at least 4 different park mobile zones in just three blocks around my apartment and the zones on the map are never accurate & my parking history is never accurately saved. If forget what zone I parked in the night before the zone isn’t listed in my history. It will save the zone I parked in a month ago but not last night? Also why when I am about to check out you have the stupid prompt for me to check my tabs to make sure I don’t have another session open? I don’t have another session, ever so stop interrupting check out for that. I have to start all over and re-enter the zone, sometimes I have already walked away from the spot and don’t remember the zone I just entered. You should only prompt me if I have another session. People are rushing and don’t have time to stop and renter the zone again. It’s really the worst. I added another car on my account recently but the app should know if I do or don’t have another session running.

Garbage

App won't let me add a credit card. I tried with both of my cards. Called my banks and they said it's not an issue on my end. There's no one to call at ParkMobile for help and the chat wait is 5 hours.

I paid but apparently it did not register

I drove down to Villanova for for a tour with my high school senior Oct 2 and paid for my parking in Zone 1225 just before 11pm. The weird part when I paid using ParkMobile app it only gave me until close to 7am. So when I woke up at 7:30 to use the bathroom I grabbed my iPhone and paid for two more hours so I would not have to worry about receiving a ticket while eating my breakfast at 8:30am. When we went down to the car at 9:30am I noticed a ticket which was issued at 9:15. I double checked my American Express online to verify the ParkMobile app, which clearly indicated I paid a second time to add more time. The worse part was when I reached out via chat on the ParkMobile app, the person made it sound like they were going to pass me off to someone who works at ParkMobile, but in reality after more than six hours I have still heard nothing from ParkMobile. This app sucked today and now has caused me to have to waste money on a ticket I should not be receiving if this app worked properly. Because this morning the app incurred significant issues and if it happens to you let me know. This is unacceptable where people who actually pay for parking using a ParkMobile and still receive ticks because the app did not communicate to the server to make sure it communicated with the parking attendant device.

Almost good

I don’t know why but whenever I selected the hours for parking when i’m about to pay it always adjust the time to 24hrs. Today, i was running late and did not double check it and I end up paying for 24hrs instead of just 11 hrs. I think it’s a little sort of money grab that they automatically adjust the time just before paying.

Needs work

(Updated): STOP THE UNWANTED ADVERTISING! THERE IS NO NOTIFICATION OPTION TO TURN OFF ADVERTISING SPAM. YOU MAKE ENOUGH MONEY FROM PARKING FEES. LEAVE ME ALONE!! Very frustrating to have to set it up every time I need it. It does not remember my login info. Ever! There I am standing in the parking lot trying to reregister while my party impatiently waits for me to join them. I assumed I was good so I went into the restaurant thinking I could finish login in from there. Wrong. The app forgot my vehicle info. I had to open a competitors app to retrieve my vehicle’s license plate. EVERY TIME!!!! Will you please give the app a long term memory? I have a password manager that works well. The whole send me a text/email to confirm login instead of a password is pretty cheesy. It just OK when it works. But it has the memory of a goldfish. Please fix the app. It needs to remember my data particularly so when the internet connection is poor I don’t have a repetitive process restoring my data standing in the street. JUST GOT MY FIRST IN-APP ADVERTISEMENT! You have a monopoly you don’t need me to hear you cheer for yourself. It is narcissistic. I have to use your service. I can’t delete the app to punish you. PLEASE STOP WITH THE ADVERTISEMENTS! And no; I will not be using the feedback email. Just read this direct feedback and correct the problems. If you ask me to use feedback app I will just copy and paste this same comment.
