  • Mobile banking

    Comericas mobile banking app has been down for a week and they can’t seem to figure out why. In this day where you could build an app in a day, these guys can’t repair their app in a weeks time. They say they will let me know when it’s fixed with no time frame given for the repair. I rely on the app for many reasons. I shouldn’t have to to go online and log in every time I need to make a transaction. This is making me think of switching banks after 36 years. No other bank chain has those types of problems with their apps. Very disappointed.

  • Missing key features

    Not only is this app missing key features that are vital to a mobile banking application but some of the features it has don’t even work. Quick Balance does not work on my iPhone 14 Pro. Once logged in there’s no way to see the current interest rate in the money market account. The information on branches is out of date. Closed branches are still shown, nonworking phone numbers are listed and branches closed on Saturdays show Saturday hours.

  • New look

    Am really disappointed in this new look. I curse each time I have to access this app. I resent not being able to change the visual orientation each time I use it. Have to do a 90 degree turn. Also it is confusing to read. Please get some top notch professionals to work on this app. I do not feel that the higher ups have used it like we the little people have had to.

    This by far is the worst professional app I have ever run across. 1. I absolutely hate the fact that I have to rotate the app to access it. You did not have to do that with the older version. 2. I hate to look at the 90% vacate pages. This makes no sense. 3. I have had to delete and download again to see if the app is working. The constant looking at the rotating gear on the app is frustrating. Who ever developed this latest version of the app should be ashamed of them selves. I can not believe that some one put this together, tested it and overlooked how user friendly it is not.

  • New Update is terrible.

    Plaid is a very common app that I’ve used for years to connect with various sites. Comerica does an update and now the very same Plaid app I’ve used for years has been disconnected and I cannot access my money.

    There was no warning and there has been no ETA as to when it will be fixed. It’s embarrassing that this bank hasn’t even fully addressed this issue.

    I will probably have to open another bank account when I shouldn’t have to. TERRIBLE.

  • Check Deposit Huge Fail

    This latest version failed repeatedly to properly decipher a check being deposited and came up with a different amount without notifying. If I put in one amount and the scan decides it is a different amount it should not accept the deposit. When the deposit ultimately failed the next day there was no notification from the app or email or text to let me know the deposit did not go.

  • If 1995 banking had an app

    Out for a whole day on Mothers Day with no statement from Comerica until well over 24 hours passed. This app is basically worthless after the latest “update” besides seeing transactions from current statement. I’ve been scammed into depositing into fake exchanges and checking accounts in the past and even those apps were more satisfying to use than this one. Can’t imagine Comerica will be around much longer with how far behind every other bank they are technologically and in response times. 👎🏽👎🏽

  • Redesigned App Is Awful

    The old app provided clear, nicely presented information. The redesign looks and performs like something from the 1990s. Case in point: if you’re making an electronic deposit, the figure you are depositing shows up in fainter font above the total amount in our account. It reads like like you’re depositing the entire amount. Confusing. Also, the account details/history is spread out with lots of white space between figures, so you have to scroll and scroll to review past activities. The previous app was Space Age compared to this Stone Age version. I don’t understand how this so-called update could have gotten commissioned and approved!

  • Poor Experience at Best

    This is a newly rolled out version of the Comerica Mobile Banking App and it is still way behind the completion on every level.

    Password is never retained on my device even when I have specified facial recognition. Once you can finally login you are radically underwhelmed by the design/interface update. You would think that from a bank that pays nothing on checking and almost nothing on savings interest rates that the app would at least be good if not awesome. What are you doing with all the savings by not paying industry level interest rates on deposits Comerica?

    I have been transferring all my money over to Synchrony Bank. They are paying 4.16% interest on their high yield savings accounts with no minimum deposits. Way better than the less than a half percent with Comerica. Plus Synchrony Bank’s app is easy to use, navigate and establish new accounts.

    Very disappointed in Comerica! You have some wonderful branch people but this doesn’t make up for your abysmal rates being paid on deposits nor your poor UX design for the app. Get your act together soon or you will be the next regional bank to fall.

  • New app negative stars

    New app is not recognizing my password as a valid password. I have deleted and reinstalled the app several times. My password, which hasn’t been changed, works just fine on the web banking on my laptop. Unfortunately that means I am not able to use the app at all, and it is very inconvenient. Even before the new app update the old app was constantly glitching & freezing. Comerica bank as a whole frequently disappoints me.

  • Too many glitches

    Past version and newest version are missing critical features. Way too many glitches causing the app to not open and then blocking access to the accounts which will force user to call CSR to request access. Currently, no updates available so I will have to uninstall the app and reinstall in order to regain access to the app.
    Because of these issues, I will be changing banks after 12 years as a customer.
