Too many glitches
Past version and newest version are missing critical features. Way too many glitches causing the app to not open and then blocking access to the accounts which will force user to call CSR to request access. Currently, no updates available so I will have to uninstall the app and reinstall in order to regain access to the app.
Because of these issues, I will be changing banks after 12 years as a customer.

Crashes constantly, requires redownload
Frequently the App will crash and require me to delete and redownload it just to open it again. When you try to open the app it simply crashes without any way to fix other than deleting and redownloading. This appears to happen with every single iPhone update. Makes absolutely no sense. No other app has this problem but Comerica. Quite frustrating and amateur quite frankly. Makes a poor quality customer experience with their mobile app. Fed up that this is never fixed or addressed. Does the app developer even test their product?

Immediate hot fix required
The latest update is a huge improvement over the last app, but push notifications are broken. I enabled alerts in the last update of the app and every time I get a notification the app needs to be deleted and reinstalled because the app boot loops. The setting was set in an older version, and EVEN after updating the app it must be reinstalled. I have gone through and disabled the setting manually in the app, and I have DISABLED push notifications permissions, but local push notifications still happen; and the app dies. I can’t turn off my notifications and every time I get a notice of a deposit, or a balance hitting my threshold. I HAVE TO REINSTALL THE APP. I HATE MY LIFE, please patch this asap; I am on my last legs with this bank, I can’t take any more late fees, etc because it takes 5 minutes to check anything with this app. This bug is a deal breaker, and sadly I will have to move to a new bank if this isn’t fixed promptly.

Transactions Disappear
I like the new update except the current transactions disappear while scrolling down. And I don’t have to scroll down very far for them to disappear. I have to backspace to accounts again and click on my checking for them to reappear. It’s very annoying, especially when you want to quickly check the most current transactions. Please fix this Comerica!

Not user friendly on iPad
I got the notice that you were converting to a new mobile app. I thought ok, they want that new logo up there. Well the app works just fine on my iPhone. But this is not good for my iPad. It doesn’t have a landscape mode and I use my iPad in landscape because I have a keyboard connected to it. I still have your old iPad version and even though you say you were going to stop supporting it, I will use it until it finally goes. PLEASE… create a user friendly iPad version that flips between portrait and landscape mode!!!

Worst Banking App
This is the worst Banking App entire my family has used, for one reason only......Availability.
This app consistently crashes on every iphone in my household, usually at the same time. Troubleshooting, which only sometimes works, is one step to delete and reinstall. When all else fails, give up and try tomorrow. I have lost count of the many dozens of times this has happened, leaving me unable to reach my money.
This last major update solved nothing. I give up and am talking with my wife about moving to another bank.

Let’s just be competitive next time as a start
After the long awaited update we get a new icon and recolored screens with a bill pay feature add that I don’t use. For those with a HELOC and checking account this app does nothing. No functionality. I honestly don’t know how this app has survived the scrutiny of the old app just to reskin the old one.
Anyone who banks with other institutions is likely as confused as I am as to how this app lacks all basic features. Now Face ID requires you to tap the icon each time to login? Why!!?? Basics. Just basics.

Regressive update
It’s truly sad to think they spent whatever amount of money on a “new” app with not only no discernibly new features, but landscape mode is gone. I can’t tell you how many apps I have that can easily go between portrait and landscape, yet Comerica still lives in the 19th and 20th century with all of its offerings. Like a previous comments, I’m about to close all of my accounts not only for this reason, but because I have to use a separate app just for my Comerica credit card. Truly pathetic.

It just doesn’t work.
I waited to write a review until the app got an update. I gave the benefit of the doubt, thinking upgrading my phone to a 13 Pro Max caused the issues with the app previously. I thought the most recent update would fix the crashing issues, but sadly, that is not the case. Opening the app causes it to crash within 10 seconds. This app has been unusable for 6+ months at this point. It’s not worth having on your phone.

I swear every time you guys change this app it screws it up. I have more problems with this banking app than anybody I’ve ever dealt with. so I go to go into it and knocks me back back out. It will not let you get into the app at all so then I said, if I delete the old app and re-download it, then it will open back up and guess what it won’t even let you download it now. You guys need to get your crap together when it comes to these apps every time you change it, it screws it up and I’m getting tired of it. I’m not ready to go to a different bank.
