It works but...
...needs improvement.
1. Will not provide thumbnail view of .HEIC files
2. Does not allow you to save a picture or file to the phone. Can only save “offline”, which only allows access to it through the app.
3. Takes way too long to login and load upstevej01a
Needs some tweaking
Ease of use(5/5): search for your NAS. Offers saved Log in for easy access. You can go through your files pretty easily.
Upload: (2/5) this is where the problem is. I am uploading almost 1000 photos and videos. It keeps getting stopped or some stuff won’t upload. Finally on the 5th attempt, I kept the phone plugged and app open. this seems to be the only way for it to upload without any problems.
Why are there like 10 different Synology apps that can do roughly the same thing? They should pool it all in one app and focus updates on one app instead of specifics. But so far, I like the NAS servers.Show lessKARMAtiK...
Very useful app on your iPhone/iPad
The app is a great addition to your Synology NAS and Synology Router. You can access /manage files on drives connected to your router and NAS if you have internet access .what would make it better would be multiple device setups on the login screen ( tap an login icon to log into your router usb drive) or tap a login icon to log into NAS : if you have several systems each has its own login icon. At present you have to enter IP address and password to access each system.Show lessStictlymac
Totally useless
This app should at leat let me choose which app I would like to open my files with. Instead all downloaded files goes to a local folder directly and you cannot share it to other apps, it basically doesn’t have that function. And crash when I want to select a folder. Synology pls work on thisFun but not amazing
Needs updating for 11inch iPad Pro...!
I use this a lot and find it very useful. But I can’t stand the fact that it looks smaller on my new and very expensive iPad Pro than on my old iPad. Please fix this as soon as possible. Thank you.Slowcatty

Good app for sure. Love how easy is to manage my pictures and videos. Quality is great! Reason for the three stars is because I can’t save videos to my phone. Pictures yes, but there is no option to save videosBellanova13
Please add filter options
It's hard to filter pics by year. It opens search bar but default names are not easy to filter because nobody knows them. There should a sort button or more options to find what you want.Harryghumanz

Using this to connect to my DS213j and it’s really slow to login, navigate, and show photos or play videos. Quite often playing videos gets stuck if you skip, and replaying from start often just freezes. I know it’s not my network or DS213j because accessing it via my MacBook is lightning fast and never fails. So frustrating!!!Show lessJimR123
