SUCH A LIFESAVING APP!
Okay so Pinterest is one of the apps i go on most of the time and it’s such a useful app, If your looking for something e.g: aesthetic room decor on Google you won’t find the exact same results as you would find on Pinterest. You can communicate to people and have many options if you don’t want to continue the conversation with them! If your debating on whether you should get Pinterest or not, you 100% should. You can post funny, cute, sad, relatable pictures or videos onto the app and get payed by the app itself. If your a small content or business creator, I recommend trying Pinterest. The app itself gives of this type of amazing, calming vibe & the community is just GREAT. The people are really respectful and honest. If you are underage I think it’s good that they put a warning for deleting accounts underage as content on here may be inappropriate!

Love it but this update??
I love pinterest, I have been using it for years. One of my favorite features was that I could look at pins related to specific boards on the homepage. Why did ya’ll think it was a good idea to swap it for a “watch” section. Not every app has to be like tiktok. The watch section is LITERALLY tiktok. If I wanted to see those videos I would go on tiktok but I don’t because I come on pinterest to look at pretty pictures. I understand some people might like it, but it was just fine the way they showed up in the feed amongst the normal feed instead of having a tiktok only watch section. PLEASE bring back being able to swipe over and see pins related to specific boards. You do not need to be tiktok #2
EDIT: I’m glad to see you brought back the “more ideas” tabs. I wrote my last review in anger after seeing the update because I don’t like change and loved pinterest as it was. I still stand by not liking the watch section. I also don’t like that when you click on a video it brings you to a video scroll feed instead of the way it used to be. I used to watch some videos on this platform, especially to see related pins, but I will no longer be watching any in dislike of the tiktok like feed.Show lessmarybeth88
Where do I begin
I have used Pinterest for years. And it used to be so great, i found it so relaxing, this is the only app that I consistently use. What happened to you?! 1) the ads are so suffocating, I absolutely hate them. They make it where unless you are on your personal boards that you’ve pinned, you cannot not see ads. I miss when you used to be able to search something and on the top of the screen would be more ideas to help “pin” point what you specifically are looking for. I would pay to have ads removed or least see way less then there is. 2) there’s been this annoying thing where you can’t swipe down on a pin to exit out, now you have to reach over to the other side of your screen to exit out, it’s like a workout for your arm just to get out of a pin. 3) when I want to look at one of the sections that I use to organize within my board, it does this thing where I’ll be scrolling and then my finger exits the section. Then I have to start over from the beginning and scroll to see what I was looking for. 4) the costumer support is terrible. You would think that a company would care what there consumers have to say since they are the ones they use the app, and without them Pinterest wouldn’t exist. I feel like they don’t care, and they don’t ever explain anything to you. Old Pinterest please please come back.Show lessFUN!!😺😺
Wonderful app, but there are issues
The most recent issue is this. You’re visiting someone’s board and scrolling through it but after like five seconds the app forcefully scrolls back to the top of the board and reloads. This is really annoying as you have almost no time to scroll through someone’s board and find what you’re looking for. There is a similar bug where you visit someone’s board, tap on a pin, and then hit the back button, only for the entire board to reload. This is really annoying if you find a bunch of pins you really like while going through a board and don’t want to get lost, because the app is basically forcing the board to reload and is also forcing you to go locate those pins you were looking at all over again.
Aside from that Pinterest is a great app. There could be less ads taking up room on your feed and boards but hey, every app has to make money, I get it. The app is mostly easy to navigate and usually it will have what you’re looking for, and it’s very fun as you don’t have to look far and wide for inspiration or cool pins. There’s lots of great stuff out there if you just look around you. But the bugs I mentioned above are making it difficult to enjoy the app as you can’t properly navigate other people’s boards without them constantly reloading atm. Unable to report sexual/harmful accounts.

When I look through my boards and then hit the go back button, it refreshes and takes me back to the top. Extremely annoying and unnecessary. Please fix this!!!! It almost makes the app unusable.
I love this app but i’m rating it one star in hopes this catches the attention of the developers. The amount of accounts popping up that are filled with sexual content, including some accounts that have boards of CHILDREN and the boards have the most horrible sexual titles ever, is horrifying and very concerning. I wish there was a way to report the whole account for sexual content/pedophilia/children in danger, etc… but when i try to it says pinterest ONLY removes accounts that post misleading content and spam or unsolicited commercial messages. I would really love for this app to be a safe space for all, but it seems impossible at this point. There are so many pictures of young girls and children on this app, and when you see the comments it’s full of these perverted accounts and there’s no way to be able to report the account as a whole, only the comment itself, and who knows if that actually does anything to ban the account. Please please please, give us a way to report these accounts for endangerment, explicit content, etc… and let us receive updates on our reports. Pinterest should be safe for everyone.Show lesss 🤍
THE BEST APP EVERRR
Lots of my friends got Pinterest so I decided to also download it and from the min i opened the app I fell in love with it. I could use this app to look at room inspiration I could look at make up tutorials and animal pics. The thing i used it for the most was drawing inspiration I could type up any description and it would come up with 100 different images. The only thing that bugs me
Love love love, using pinterest, I find it super therapeutic to organise and fill up my boards and express myself, However my only concern is the UI design when downloading images off of pinterest, I’m sure others can relate aswell when you accidentally click “hide” instead of “download image” I think it would change so much if the texts were swapped, or even have a dedicated download button, as in my opinion the hide feature isn’t used as much as the download button. I think it’s that small change that could improve so much when interacting and downloading images that could make the process so much more efficient. Thank you so much!Show lessIra Mallari
LOVE but a tiny problem
I’ve been using Pinterest since 2015. I absolutely love every new update y’all create, it makes Pinterest such a wonderful, clean, and creative community. I myself create idea pins, and my tiny creations have reached thousands of people! But this new update it’s getting hard to work with. Me, along with some other Pinterest users, are finding it hard to keep up with the story pins of accounts we follow. When you had the idea pins at the top of the home page, it was great to know which accounts were actively publishing content. I do think that with this update, I have been scrolling a lot more on Pinterest and finding new inspiration but many of my followers can’t find my story pins and same with me! I love Pinterest and I’m going to keep using it however it’s frustrating when I create pins that used to get 1.2k views and now my pins get 196… idk if you’ll even see this or do this but I have a few suggestions. Maybe as we scroll, you can come across the profile of a person you follow as it’s own pin- that way people will know that account has new content. Or go back to have the little circles at the top of the homepage, but only put the accounts with the most recent posts. Then you would have to scroll and come across older posts. Idk if this is even possible, but I thought I might as well try 😁 anyways thank you all for so much you do and always sparking my creativity :)

Please stop changing things
I’ve loved the Pinterest app for years, but I’m so tired of the updates ans redesigns. This used to be such an accessible platform for people of all ages and backgrounds, and now it feels like you guys are just pandering to young people (and I say this as someone in her 20s). My feed and searches are littered with stolen TikToks which is just annoying. I like seeing SOME TikToks and other short-form clips mixed in with more traditional posts, but now it’s like 90% of what I’m seeing on my dashboard. Sometimes I search for things and get literally nothing but TikToks, other times I don’t get any, and it just seems like a half-baked pointless algorithm. Can’t we just go on TikTok if we want to look at TikToks? Then there’s the features that keep disappearing even though we were all using them. You took away the option to like pins, and now we can’t post pictures of our tries? I loved that feature. In fact it was one of my favorite parts of using Pinterest, getting to share how things turned out and see how other people did. Why take that away?? And the ADS. By golly it feels like I can’t scroll down an inch without getting an ad. Is anyone reading these reviews? I feel like we’re all saying the same things and nothing ever changes. Following Tab back ASAP!
The genuine users, have been asking for over a year now, for the “following” tab to be reinstated! We need to have an active home feed, where we can see most recent pins from people we CHOOSE to follow! All this “picked for you” is absolute garbage, completely irrelevant and repetitive. Pin 1 picture of a cupcake, receive 50 of the exact same pin all the way down the feed. The algorithm is so off balance, it’s actually laughable now. Have reached out to “support” and just receive the usual generic response, “we’ll suggest this to the developers “ . Yeah ok then. This used to be my favourite app, I barely even bother with it now, for anyone upset at not being able to create an account, go to Weheartit or Tumblr. Developers are only interested in the reviewers who massage their ego. Boards are not refreshing now either, despite being set to “most recently pinned to” place is full of bots and disgusting content, even when you block someone, they can still get on your profile, so what’s the point in being able to block?
