Left stranded without a room. Use at your own risk!
I was traveling last month with my 10 month old son and my wife and we found our hotel on Agoda. To our horror, when we reached the property, the property told us that the hotel was only for adults above 18 years old and the hotel was not able to fulfil our reservation.
I clearly remembered that when I searched for the hotel on Agoda, I had clearly searched to include one infant as one of the search criteria, since that was inportant to me, so I went back to try that again.
I found that I was once again able to search, find and book the same adults only hotel even though I included an infant in the search criteria.
I took a screen recording of the whole process as well and showed to Agoda customer support to inform them of the issue but they refused to acknowledge it.
Ignore the “reviews” you see, search for the low reviews for the app, and you will see that my experience is not uncommon. A lot of wrong information on the app, so book at your own risk! I’m going to use other booking apps because the risk of spoiling my family vacation is just not worth it!

App keep asking for my card number, why is it so obsessed with my visa/master card?Tried many times, purely wasting of time. Bye bye Agoda

Appalling customer service
Additionally, I booked a hotel stay and received a confirmation email. Then my stay was cancelled. When I inquired as to the reason they gave me several different reasons, 1 being that the hotel was never secured because I did not receive a confirmation email, even though I did. None of their excuses made any sense. I rebooked, for a higher price, and when arrived at the hotel, the hotel had my reservation for an inferior room. I don’t know if these issues are from the hotels end or the Agoda app, but Agoda did not address my concerns, even after 3 hours of contact with them through the in app customer service agent.
