I have never experienced such poor customer service and had to fight tooth and nail to get a refund and this was only because I paid via PayPal and they found in my favour after I received absolutely no response from them and they left me no alternative but to escalate my claim. I believe that their so called contract is possibly deemed as an unfair contract as for a contract to be fair, the terms have to be written in such a way, whereby the sellers contract is not allowed to create and imbalance between my rights and obligations as a consumer and obligations of you as a seller. Furthermore, in such a contract, the terms should be balanced and have a general requirement of good faith. You can’t ask for more. Product works beyond what I was hoping for. I ran the diagnostics and checked the results along with using smart mechanic. Found my 3 issues along with repair info. This tool can save you thousands on repairs and give you the ability to have insight to exactly what it taking place with your car before you bring it in for service. Great functionality
I’ve used Carly for several years and have appreciated its ability to change my car’s settings (turn off/on daytime running lights, automatic locking, etc) and to diagnose engine faults. Its capability is continually updated and improved, even for older vehicles.
I have been particularly impressed with the customer support at Carly. Responses are fast and thorough and only delayed by my own failure to provide complete information (for example, I could have included a screen shot instead of describing it).

Great product
Had the Carly for 12mths now, full subscription. Used on many cars, every car has been diagnosed and most cleared easily with no further cost.
Had a problem clearing an 06 Mini but selecting the BMW 3 series 06 has allowed me to clear all issues no probs. So even if the actual car is not listed a car from the same year and same manufacturer (group) should work. Great support from Carly to help me out too.

Scam Artists
I specifically bought this scanner for my Lexus and paid extra so it would scan my Lexus and it doesn’t work. First they sent me a defective unit and then only sent me another after an uphill battle for another. Then the new one they sent me won’t work either. It took over 2 hours to scan 15% of the car and then froze. I attempted the 2 hour scan twice and it keeps freezing. Seriously stay away from these people and their awful scanner and stick with the BlueDriver Scanner.Show lessliamsmith15362

Handy used car check. Easy to use trouble codes check with links to explanations. Had a problem getting live data. Rouben from support gave me a work around straight away. Turns out I needed to start the app first, go to OBD functions, then to live data (not the one on main menu. fix to come), start the engine, then to connect. Live data streams well and can be logged for saving or emailing. It does six parameters at one time from various systems and you can watch the stream or the gauges. Have no present need for coding so haven’t used it. Battery reset and maintenance mode should prove useful though.Show lessJF045
Good app but has a minor bug
This app is my favorite and love the new features that are being added to tell me more about my codes. But the app used to stay connected to my iPhone on Bluetooth back then but now it disconnects when I swipe out the app and go back in. Carly has been terrific for my BMW’s
Can’t say enough about this device. If you own older BMW’s like me and keep them for many years and miles this help you keep them maintained and running as BMW made them. The annual fee for full use is made up every year easily on my cars. One trip to a dealer or independent would cost more for a quick diagnostic than the fee. And you have coding capabilities as noted by others that are truly a blessing. Love you guys.Show lessK unit
Read to the end . And persevere it’s not a scam
Ok at first I had some issues and was really concerned …..I ordered a subscription to Renault as I have a master with some electrical faults ….it took ages to arrive and when it did it was the wrong adapter ! A first gen completely useless …. I felt straight away …. “It’s a scam “ …. I raised a lots of tickets in the app …… which took ages to reply then some of those reply’s didn’t respond to my responses and it became very frustrating …… however once I did get through to some one ….. they told me they had sent out another scanner .
1 week later the scanner arrived and it worked !…… with in 5 mins of it arriving , I was diagnosing my van issues and that day solved my issues that had previously cost me lots .
I have seen lots of people complaining and saying it’s a scam ….. I would say “keep going as it’s not and as for the tool it’s self and the app there brilliant “ .
Since diagnosing my van issues I’ve unlocked the full vehicle version £74 and I’ve helped my friends with there issues too .
It seems like a lot of money but I’ve saved money as a auto electrician coming out again would of cost me hundreds !.
The customer service does work eventually but you have to be patient .
Hence the 1 star missing .
