App Makes Transfers Easy but has a lot of Bugs
So this app makes checking my balance and transferring super convenient from my phone but I face a lot of issues.
For example I will click on a different tab in the app, like the Transfers tab and it’ll just stay on the home page for up to ten seconds until finally loading. And then when I start typing in the amount of money to transfer the whole page just goes white and then I can’t finish transferring anything. This happens often and closing the app and reopening it or restarting my phone doesn’t fix it.
I’ve also had cases of purchases I’ve made in person showing up in the app on the same day but showing the date as the next. For example I made a purchase in a grocery store around 9pm on October 30th. Right after I checked my balance and the purchase I made showed up, but said it was made October 31st. Little things like make it difficult to keep track of purchases and validity.
I love having access to my accounts from my phone but these issues make it frustrating to use.

Worst banking app I’ve used
UI is fine/normal…though the amount of lag I have experienced just going between tabs in the app is just frustrating. Sometimes I have to refresh the app/click in between pages multiple times just to do what I need to do.

The bank is fine. The app, however, is very slow and frequently hangs. Often takes minutes just to check your balance. At my other credit Union the app is snappy, takes seconds to perform operations that can take minutes in the pac serv app.
I I could give ZERO stars I would.
A 20+ years banking relationship went down the drain because customer service didn’t seem to get the fact that I was telling them I’d been defrauded until I sent a 6 page letter detailing federal banking regulation E on electronic funds transfer services to them. Yes, they ultimately got my funds back to me after 20+ days, yes, they closed my accounts, gave me new account numbers, reversed NSF fees, but have been no help clearing my credit report! I will never use a state chartered credit union again unless it’s for a loan only. The NCUA only steps in if the credit union is financially unsound. The FDIC is specifically geared towards banks not credit unions!

How is this a 4/5 rated app?
Despite doing a full UX redesign, this app lacks major functionality features. It is very slow (when compared to the apps of other financial institutions), log-in is a pain. Additionally, each time I’ve tried using the app, it ends up just freezing on me and I have to kill the app, restart it and log in. It’s crazy how we’re in the 21st century, yet this credit union can not release a functional mobile app. Yeah we like the new design, but how about you guys focus on making the app work first!!
Sorry to say, but this app is the main reason why PSCU is not my primary financial institution, because if I’m using my account/online banking on a daily basis, I want it to work flawlessly.

Efficient
In this often confusing and mistaken-ridden world, PSCU keeps doing an excellent job. Extremely helpful customer service and quick and efficient service.
