App not working at all
Been using this app for years with no issue. Seems that since the last update it won’t open. It’s opens the loading page with the daffodils but that’s it, nothing happens. Tried to find a way to report it but pretty useless system if you just signpost people to use the app to chat to someone. Not much use when I can’t open the app. Couldn’t find any easy way to contact anyone so having to do it here, publicly. Still giving 5 stars as when it does work it’s great. However not having access is a total pain as I have payments to make. When is this issue likely to be fixed please?

Overall, the app has been good and improving over the years. Now screenshots are blocked for ‘security’. Why? Please give an example of how being able to take a screenshot of my own banking data, on my own already-very-secure device is likely to cause a loss (of any kind).
I’m not happy. I use screenshots a lot. I delete them when I’m done, but they ability to have a static view that I can use without having to log in 20 times in the space of a minute, is invaluable. Your app has just become less valuable. Please reinstate the screenshot ability that wasn’t yours to disable in the first place. Had my account for over 25 years without a hitch, but this could see me look elsewhere.

I find it easy and great. the platform makes it good and easy to do banking stuff for me. I recommend I haven’t had any issues yet

I find this app. generally very quick and easy to use, especially when facial recognition is employed. You get straight through to log into the app. If I have to put in the 3 letters of my memorable information, its still better than most other websites with a password, then changing the password when you can’t lay your hands on the last thing you changed it to. Something about the phrase ‘memorable information’ is intuitively better and more enduring.
Making payments and transferring funds; sending receipts, all makes online banking very quick and seamless. In case you missed them, notifications from the bank are kept ‘on file’. Monthly statements and up-coming payments are all very easy to locate within the app. It only needs a bit of attention, and reading the instructions properly. One of the easiest apps to use.

Bank of Scotland app is one of the best bank apps
BoS app is best internet bank app I have used so far. Very good as it allows account view, transfers, set up & manage standing orders plus quite a few features not on many other bank apps. Able to see upcoming payments too. Update to send notifications when transactions made in or out of account is a good addition. After a new account set up was able to see it after using the 'New +' button in My accounts. Seems to have most security features and is improving all the time! All lot of new things are intuitive but some changes take me a bit of time to adjust to.

Payments to MasterCard
I always transfer the full amount of a purchase from my classic account to my MasterCard before I get a statement. It always takes the money out of my classic account instantly, however is always at least a day before it goes into my MasterCard, even though it always says it will be in my MasterCard account within 2 hours.
This caused me a problem at the start of the month when I wanted to buy airline tickets, they were going to cost more than my credit allowance. Because of this, I transferred more than the full amount to my credit card BEFORE buying the tickets. Again, it said the money would be in my credit card account within 2hours ! Again it wasn’t, and the money was taken from my credit card account for the airline purchase BEFORE my money transfer was registered in my credit card account. I then got worrying nasty messages on my bank app, AND 10 days later got a nasty letter. I phoned the MasterCard number, and she wasn’t very polite or helpful. So, I now don’t know if I have any credit issues, when I did nothing wrong.
Needless to say I am looking into changing ALL my B.O.S accounts to another bank.
