  • Poor change to the calendar visual!! Change it back!!

The new calendar update is visually messy and very hard to look at! The old version had the entire date box colored for the parent who had custody and was very clear and visually appealing. This new version now instead has a thin color line above and below each date (one for the previous week, and one for that week)—this makes it look very confusing which one applies to the date in question. I have already confused when I have the kids multiple times, and have to look up at the first week of the calendar each time to decide which colored line belongs to the current weekend. I understand that a developer believes this probably looks “cleaner” or “sleeker”—but on the user level, it’s confusing and annoying, and we just want the old version back. Both my ex and I do not like it, and I’m unlikely to continue with OFW if it remains, as the calendar is our main functionality. Now, it’s no different than google calendar. Please change it back soon, or at least give users the choice which calendar coloring they prefer.

  • Useful

Love how it has made communication with co-parent easier and encouraged communication.

Don’t like that cannot change notification settings for a step parent account so miss messages from other parent. Please allow notification settings to be changed for these accounts as well as parents.
  • A Valuable App with Great Potential in Need Better Design

I appreciate the concept—this app is truly invaluable, especially when co-parenting with someone who can be challenging to communicate with. The knowledge base articles and blogs are helpful resources, and customer service responds more quickly than anticipated.

However, the User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) appear to have been influenced by leadership, product managers, developers, or possibly designers who may not have the necessary expertise. I say this with the insight gained from 24 years of real-world experience in leading, creating, and designing products for some of the world's top corporations.

While the leadership's vision is clear, the product managers have done their part, and the development is solid, the UX and UI require significant improvement. I strongly recommend bringing in an exceptional designer to elevate the product to the highest standards. Allow the design expert to take the lead, ensuring your app becomes the Rolls-Royce of co-parenting tools. If you already have a Design Director or Manager, I suggest starting there to implement this critical enhancement.

  • Access to All Messages 👎

Developers, asking again: On the home there are two places that get you to Inbox and none that get you to All Messages. Please update this so you don’t have to click in three separate parts of the screen to get to the natural sequence of messages. This small change would make a huge difference in daily practical use. Please, please, please direct the Messages tab to All Messages -or- change the Unread Messages button to All Messages. It make no practical sense as it is now and it is a frustrating inconvenience.

    ———

Please change “Unread Messages” button to “All Messages” on home page!! Hey developers! It would be extremely helpful if you were able to access “All Messages” from the home page on this app. Currently you sign on and have a 3 step process to get to “All Messages” with three clicks in separate areas of your screen. The All Messages page is the most important place for me to go and it is currently inconvenient and frustrating to get there. Your consideration for an update on this is appreciated!

  • App keeps freezing

I would not recommend this app - it keeps freezing, and is not always accessible, even after updating and deleting / re-installing.
  • What do they do with your personal data?

Chose to start using OFW to give it trial to see if it would improve communication between us. It made little difference reading a messge on a different app same screen.

Requested all personal data erased as per UK GDPR, we were only using the platform via mutual consent (no court order no legal contract) - company refused. Have taken the matter to the Information Commission Office to be resolved. So what are they doing with the data??

  • Not User Friendly, Poor customer service.

The app is all over the map. It is confusing, it takes ten minutes to schedule an event or change a date. Messages aren’t sent/received in chronological order.

I reached out for a refund and was denied.

Don’t waste your time on this app.

TimeTree is a free app that is MUCH more efficient.
  • Don’t waste your money

I have had this app for just over a year before I refused to keep using it due to being locked out, crashing and freezes.
After being talking into using it again it has been good for the past 6 months but has not started to freeze loosing any functionality.
    Very frustrating and expensive app.
  • Ripped off

When I had accessibility difficulties, they told me to use a browser. When I asked about the requirement for subscriptions, and whether it was BOTH parents, they ignored my message until my subscription cancel date passed. They subsequently took the fee (translated into Australian dollars, it’s HUGE), THEN refused to refund my subscription despite my ex refusing to pay. For an app that’s supposed to make it easier for parents who have communication and parenting difficulties, they are reprehensible in taking my money when my ex refuses to pay. How many others do they do this with? Easy money? Never mind the obvious discrimination in ignoring my difficulties in accessing some of the basic functions with the text reader or on my tablet. AVOID THIS ONE! There are cheaper and better ones that don’t live on an old reputation like this.

  • Very clunky and not worth the fee

If it was free I would be more forgiving but having to pay £100 every year for an app that often doesn’t send notifications, struggles to log in and deletes messages and drafts seems wrong especially when dealing with a very difficult co-parent who demands zero room for error. OFW makes an already difficult communication dynamic more difficult.
