Du is truly amazing for someone who is visiting the UAE for 30 days. I just inserted the sim and it was like I didn’t mess a beat. And when I needed to top up I just recharged through the app, so convenient.Developer Response

Even though the price is perfect however the data finishes quickly and sometimes the connection is poorBe really careful and get confirmations by email when dealing with DU
Dealing with Du is a nightmare, unfortunately we don’t have the possibility to chose the provider and there are very limited companies on the market. I cancelled my DU subscription as I have left the country but in order to complete the process I had to call 5 times and I was getting different feedback every time. On the first call on the 29th June, I was informed that my contract ends on 3rd of July and I should be cancelling only on that date or I will be charged a month penalty for early cancellation. on the 30th of June I was informed by email and phone that my contract actually ended the day before (29th June). So I cancelled my subscription on the 30th via App. After a week the cancellation department finally called me and informed that my contract actually ends on the 3rd of July and that I might be charged for July bill!! Luckily I have the email stating that contract ends on 29th of June and I also disconnected the router on that day.

Despite the very limited functionality the app takes minutes to start and often refuses even to show the home screen. However, this doesn’t stop DU from charging you premium and sending you 5+ ads visa push notifications daily without any option to opt-out from ads.Developer Response

There are glitches in the app that mean requests to cancel don’t necessarily get processed - their own cancellation team admitted this.
Trying to get this problem fixed has raised my blood pressure - no department will take responsibility. Du likes to use words such as ‘seamless’ with no idea what it means.Show lessDeveloper Response

They’ve taken away the option to buy data by the GB for prepaid. Now we’re only able to “recharge” and pay for a bundle that “auto renews”. Completely defeats the purpose of “prepaid”. I assume that’s their intentionDeveloper Response
