Use Uber instead
The app cannot accept any foreign credit cards. Tried to pay with 4 different cards that work on Uber and just keep getting the same error and told to try back later. Customer service rep then asks me to pay taxi driver via bank transfer or even meet him to pay cash. This is a major bug in the app and BiTaksi should be responsible for fixing this so that I can pay. Or just don’t offer the credit card option to begin with. I used btaxi for 10 days now, and it was the best trip I had. Clean car, no smoking, no bad smell, and a very good behavior driver.Nilou neda
Honest pricing issues
The honest issue here is the pricing discrepancy. It was quite routine for the ride to be accepted by the driver but then negotiated. The driver would send a message saying: “where are you going?” Once seeing the location, the driver would request to multiply the trip cost by 3-4X. It is not pleasant to feel taken advantage of in this way. Furthermore, it does not give a visitor a good first impression.
I feel it necessary to let people know what to expect using this app. I honestly hope this can improve as I would like to use this app more.Show lessManatee3!
Terrible experience
Firstly, code to verify iPhone took forever to receive.
Secondly, the first driver we had didn’t like traffi. - so forced us to leave the taxi nowhere near our destination. Leaving us to try and find our way on foot in a strange city.
Drivers rarely pick up rides from the app - and demand cash instead of cards to evade taxes.
This app is awful and the drivers on it are worse. Walk or hire a car.Show less|AJ|
Rip off
I booked a trip from Aksaray to Saw airport this morning and I was shocked to know that the driver was able somehow to alter the total amount to 1200tl. The app suggested cost was around 700 tl and the driver somehow canceled my payment via my credit card and demanded that I needed to pay him in cash. I didnt carry that amount in cash which caused my wife and I great frustration and embarrassment. I ended up paying the driver 600tl in cash and the rest via my credit card which then he charged additional 36tl as processing fee. Nice copy-cat app of revolutionary Uber. However it doesn't work thanks to İstanbul can drivers.
I've tried multiple times to call a cab. Zero success. Either the app can't find a ride, despite the fact that there are multiple cabs within 1 minute range, or the cab drivers cancel the ride after accepting my request.

Absolutely Horrible
Booked a ride expecting it to be like Uber but was far from it. The driver took me for personal errands with him, he smoked in the car, complained of traffic and how there’d be additional costs. At the end, he asked for additional payment and when I told him I only had card he claimed that the card reader had issues. He drove me to an ATM, waited till I withdrew the money and paid him and then had me walk the rest of the way to my destination.

Just about ok
BiTaksi in Istanbul does not have dedicated drivers or cars. It calls regular yellow taxis. The payment can be through app; or through credit card or by cash. However not all yellow cabs have credit card machines. Better to settle payment terms at the beginning after taxi arrives. And always good to ask the driver to start the meter. The App does not calculate the fare.
Some drivers cancel the trip saying it was the wrong address. They could be doing this to save on the App commission and to get payment on cash. Some drivers want to add a commission if you pay through card.
So some wrinkles exist. It s a good idea to keep cash on you. Or just flat a yellow taxi on the road. There are millions.Show lessRG007654321
Do not use this service
0 Stars!!! A group of female tourists visited Istanbul and had numerous uncomfortable rides with your drivers. The drivers threatened us and cheated us on the fare. We called your customer service to complain but we’re dismissed because we didn’t have video evidence -which is ridiculous.
I will never use this service again and have been sharing my experience with everyone and through social media. The dismissive attitude and lack of customer service is shameful. Female customer are not safe if they use this service!!!Show lessMarietraveller
