  • Horrible user experience.

    Have been using this app for years now and over the course of these years, the app hasn’t changed much, still horrible user experience, glitchy and filters don’t even work. I’m now in need of prenatal yoga/pilates classes but when I choose this style in filters it doesn’t even work, showing all other normal classes. Would love for you guys to invest some time and money in user experience and add more prenatal content. Thanks

  • Would be 5 stars if they made 1 change

    I really like this alo moves app. I have been doing Yoga for 6 years and I guess over time I have become a bit particular. I like my instructors to know what they are doing, and I want my yoga classes to be a relaxing and unwinding end of my day. The Alo moves Yoga instructors are top notch.

    But the second piece of what I am looking for in a class is relaxing atmosphere, which is where the music comes in. The music should help me to relax and unwind. Most of the music on the app is great, but some classes have music that includes lyrics. Here is the problem. When there are lyrics in the song, and the instructor is also speaking… that means there are two voices at the same time. Maybe it’s me, but my brain absolutely cannot make sense of two voices speaking/singing simultaneously. It may sound weird but it gives me some sort of anxiety because my brain can’t choose what to listen to…which is the opposite of what I want in a yoga class. I want to relax.

    Please take out songs with lyrics for yoga classes, or give us the ability to choose our style of music. I will then give a 5 star rating, as I really do like this app. Thanks!!

  • Amazing

    This is my first app review ever but I just had to come on and say that this app is truly top notch. Out of the few classes I’ve tried so far they have probably been the best fitness videos I’ve ever watched, from the quality of teaching to the videography and the personality and styles of different teachers on there, in addition to just the huge catalogue of content, you’re guaranteed to find a fitness style that suits you. As someone who hates the gym and likes movement but never found the right motivation to make it a daily routine, I honestly now truly look forward to my mornings with Alo! Especially as postpartum momma with little time and a whole body to retrain and strengthen, I’ve loved being able to find Me time with the training on here.

  • The membership does not stop

    I’ve been trying for 2 months to cancel my membership and I can’t
    My app says that I cancelled but I’m still getting charged
    When you enter to the “manage my membership” page it never loads. It’s seems like a legit scam, please be careful

  • Pay so much $$ for an unusable app

    This app is almost unusable. From opening it to searching, scrolling, clicking, loading, rewinding, fast forwarding, saving, downloading….You name it, this app has a problem with it! I pay $30 nzd a month for this, that’s a lot, you’d think Alo would have the funds to make an actual functioning app. I’ve used Alo for years and through out this time (and many price increases along the way) I think the app has actually gotten worse. I Finally got annoyed enough to write a review. Sort it out Alo, you take enough of people’s money the least you can do is provide your end of the deal 😊

  • Great app - why are features missing from AppleTV app??

    I love alo moves!! I love the classes!! This is 5 star except the AppleTV app doesn’t have filter options and recently all the open classes are missing!! I deleted and added back - same issue!! Please make AppleTV app the same as on my iPhone and iPad!
  • App and website inconsistent

    I love the classes that are offered but the interface between mobile use and the website is in consistent. For instance, you can create whole playlists on the website but are not able to do that on the app. You can what classes you have done with a simple “Completed” in the bottom right corner of the video thumbnails on the apps but not able to see those completed on the website. And the tags attached to videos for searching seem to be off too. Like when I search for a video, typing exactly what it is titled, it won’t come up…so I have to rely on using my history of recent classes taken or search for it the same way I found it the first time by using filters and hope new classes haven’t been added that would make the search harder. And some of the classes allow you to decrease the level of background music which is almost always too loud, but not all of them do this which…when the music is too loud, takes away from the experience of the class sometimes.

  • Cast to TV doesn’t work

    Love the app and the workouts, but only being able to use my tiny phone screen is a major downfall. Too often, I have to pause workouts to rewind, get closer to the screen to watch and then rewind to catch up with the move again. Not exactly the smooth flow to a workout that I want.

    The app and their website says you can cast to a device or TV, but it’s never worked for me and lots of others users have had similar issues in online forums. I’ve tried two different smart TVs, a fire stick, a Roku box and even just casting to my laptop for a slightly bigger screen. Nope! When trying to cast, I always get the same error message that there are no devices available despite everything being on the same network. I’m a super tech savvy person, have wasted an hour troubleshooting with the same results. Very frustrating. Others who have had success, say music is an issue. Alo, PLEASE work on this with your developers.

  • Yoga in my pocket!

    I absolutely love this app. I’ve been using it for a few years now. Between work and family life it hasn’t been easy to get to a yoga studio, but alo moves allows me to still have yoga in my life. 😊🙏🏾
