  • User Friendly & flexible

I love how I'm able it's universal (iPhone & iPad) and how it's flexible in how it can be used.
It makes planning my time much easier when I sort the projects for the day and see them like I would an agenda. Moreover, the timer helps keep me on track.
  • Timely makes me money, literally

If you don't track things in business how do you know how well you are doing? Prior to Timely I was using guesswork. With Timely I can finally see how profitable (or otherwise) my projects are and what I can squeeze into each week. Which is a lot more than I realised. So the leverage side of this app alone is totally worth subscribing online. I can instantly see the sorts of projects that are really profitable time-wise and target more of that work. It is super-intuitive to use and has a beautiful user interface. Staff are awesome too. I LOVE Timely. If you want to plan your day or week and make more money, then I am sure you will live Timely too.

  • Super helpful!

Really great app. Glad I found it. Super helpful.

One suggested improvement would be to develop an invoicing function, so you can invoice straight from the app.
  • Perfect for project managers/consultants!

I'm a project manager for a consulting firm with oversight on several projects. I bill my time by project and have struggled to find an on the go solution, until now. Lately I bill 2 to 3 separate entries a day, but in busy months it can be up to 15-20 entries a day. I have used just about every time tracking tool out there from excel to TSheets and even desktop apps like Timeslips by Sage. I like this one the best, and it's working really well. It's helping to make sure I have less lost billable time!! I think the thing that has sold me the most is the iPhone app. It's not glitchy, is easy to use, and syncs quickly with whatever server they use so when I pop on to the computer my time entries aren't in conflict.

My FAVORITE feature of this app is the start/stop timer feature. Not all the other time apps out there have this. This feature is available on the iPhone app and online. So, big big thumbs up there.

  • Great but expensive

I tried this app and loved it after 5 minutes of using it.
However, it seems the cost after a free period is nearly $20 AU per month!!
Way too expensive, I deleted it right away. Back to Hours.
  • Fantastic for Work

I really love this app for it's time planning feature, as well as for letting me log in my hours manually, because it's easy to forget when I start or stop during stressful deadlines at work. The way I visually shows me how much time I've got left or how much I've gone overtime is immensely valuable to me.

It's also really helpful for making time aside for non-work/freelance things like reading or studying or brushing up on other skills.

I highly recommend it for anyone who needs something to keep them on track and accountable of their hours. Love it!!!

  • Excellent time manager

I started a video production business and tracking my hours for various projects I am working on at the same time was a pain. Timely is made it really easy to organize my projects and manage my time better. Great app!
  • Very easy to use

I've been using the app for about a month and it makes it very easy to track time you spend on projects. However it's limiting on how you can assign time to budgets. It only gives you an option for a total budget not reoccurring budgets on a monthly basis
  • So helpful

This app is just what I need to track my project's billable hours. I love that you can check the timeline too, in case you need to adjust something (i.e. if you forgot to stop the timer when you got interrupted...)
  • Just perfect

As a designer running my own company timely lets me account for every minute I spend in front of my Mac. As I can accurately record how much time spent, I actually started charging my clients for what I do rather than guessing - it pays for itself.
