Horrible App
I just switched to the Popur from Petkit since they were such a crappy company for customer service but at least they were further along in having a halfway decent app.
This app is absolute garbage. They have a shell of an app and that’s it. Forget trying to get to the tutorials or FAQs as they don’t exist in app. Once you find that out and try to back out you’re just stuck in a refresh loop causing you to close the app and reopen it. I am sort of regretting my switch to Popur but there isn’t really anything else out there.Show lessAnon2319-1
Pretty disappointed
Half a year in as a kickstarter backer with 2 Popurs I can tell you the lid will fail and this machine will dump all over your floor. And it’s not my cat standing on it or interrupting the function (I watch it run), the internal wires that let the box communicate with the lid will break. This causes the machine to think the lid is closed when it is open and open when it is closed. If you are set to automatic cleaning you will come home from work to 9 hours of filth on your wall and floor. And good luck getting a fast resolution from a company operating in china. Keep a manual scoop on you because you might just be back to scooping for 2 weeks while you wait for a replacement. If you are downloading this app do yourself a favor and return the product while you still have the packaging get your money back and buy a litter robot. Spend the extra money and save yourself the headache. I’m 7 or 8 months in and well past the point of no return but if I could get my money back I would throw this thing in the River. The app is garbage too it constantly disconnects it doesn’t actually track your cats weight or bathroom habits all it does is give you a button to run the machine like a remote that’s it. Also if you run manual like me every time the machine disconnects be sure to set your settings back to manual. If you don’t it may be the day your lid fails and you come home from work to 9 hours of filth on your walls and floor. Good luckShow lessPimpin tittiz
Getting better
After lots of help from customer service, I got everything working. App is working better than before. No majors issues. The machine is awesome! Any parts that had issues were replace for free right away. It’s working great!Debb123456
Terrible non functioning app
We got the machine and I already see that the app is non functional garbage. App and machine at latest versions. I make changes in the app and nothing changes on the machine. Can’t change the display to clock or anything else. It’s not keeping track of individual pets, only total cleaning cycles. This is a deal breaker of the ‘smart’ app is this bad. Settings aren’t saving
This app is almost useless. You can select settings, but you can’t save them. As soon as the app is closed down they default back to the factory settings.SarahBella007
Do better
App frequently locks up and has to be restarted. Will not update unit firmware. Will not save settings, so I hope you’re happy with the default settings.
You have the ability to enter pet info. Why? Nothing ever explains that.

The app is almost useless
Other than getting notifications. I can’t change anything on the machine itself. To be fair, the box does work better than most other litter bots. But seriously, fix the app plz!!!!Abear007
App
This app is terrible. It does not communicate with the littler box what so ever. I asked popur about it, they told me to do an update. I did and the litter box is still not communicating with the app. I press “clean” it does nothing. It doesn’t keep any track of my cats record of weight, weekly cycles of their business, anything. All it tells me is after the cats use the box, it’s cleaning record. I had them go into my app to update the firmware to 4.1.3, and it doesn’t show anything on my end that it’s updated. It does say that “firmware is the latest version,” but before they went into my app to update it to the 4.1.3 version, it still wouldn’t update when I did it. After they updated it for me, there’s no record of seeing the 4.1.3 updated version. It doesn’t show any numbers on the firmware. Before and after the update when I’ve tried to update firmware, it just keeps telling me the firmware update has failed. It also does not tell me when the waste bin is full or needing to be changed. It does show the weekly cycles and the total cycles, but not for which cat has used it. This app is just terrible. Popur, you need to update the app and you can do better than this.Show lesscassnich87
Useless app
Like everyone else, I don’t think the app is programmed to actually talk to the box. I think it’s smoke and mirrors. It set up on our Wi-Fi just fine and I get notifications when it cleans but I can’t actually change anything. I wanted it in manual mode of course when I set it out and a couple hours later I got a notification that it cleaned. Not supposed to!! I have no idea which cat used it, if they were freaked out or even nearby when it cycled. And three minutes is just not enough. This app is terrible! I have 29 more days to decide if I want to keep a box that is automatic but has no real ‘smart’ to it.Show lessImrapunzel1945
Useless app
It’s completely useless stopped working awhile ago and no matter what I do refuses to comunícate with the litter box. Needs a complete overhaul. I have to plug and unplug for use and sleep etcetera. Definitely don’t recommend this app the way it is and the litter box is pretty much useless without it other than on auto. And with all these moving parts I’m guessing it won’t last all that long.
