  • Useless. Incompetent. Horrible experience

    Frontdoor is a useless and incompetent company. As you can see a good portion of the reviews left are fake reviews from employees which should tell you they are shady.

    I was sent an incorrect quote for an HVAC repair over a month and a half ago and the will not resolve the issue. The quote was almost 3x the actual amount I am supposed to pay and they confirmed that it was incorrect by phone, but they refuse to send me an updated quote or something in writing stating that the quote is incorrect. They claim they have sent emails and even claimed to have sent a letter by mail, but nothing was received so they are very clearly lying. I have been without air conditioning for months at this point because I am not signing a quote with the incorrect amount and they simply do not care to do their jobs and correct this.

  • This is a joke.

    What a great concept I was really looking forward to it. I downloaded the app. Did my free trial video the expert gave me a link to parts that was out of stock. I found the part elsewhere the exact same part number ordered it and it was the wrong part time wasted money wasted I tried to contact customer service, there isn’t any the chat support guy told me to just pay more money and get more video chats then insulted me and told me to go back and read the notes from the expert. Don’t download it.! No customer support number, abhorrent app sent me on a goose chase to no remediation. there’s a reason they don’t have a customer service number. They don’t want you to call them. It’s all a scam.

  • Run dont walk to get this app!

    I’m a first time homeowner who has never fixed anything. I have discovered many upgrades that need to happen to my house. Repairs are so expensive, but I have no experience with fixing anything. With the help of front door, I have done professional level repairs to my electrical, plumbing, AC, and anything else that needs to be done around the house. These guys are awesome and friendly and they know their stuff. I tell everybody to get this app!

  • Kitchenaide Refrigerator Not Cooling

    After troubleshooting our fridge we found it’s a possible refrigerant issue, we found out that we need a service repair person to fix it. Although we are not able to fix it ourselves it was an awesome service experience by this technician, he was very helpful and knowledgeable.

  • Have not been able to get my 1st free video chat

    I have tried for 2 days to get the 1st free video chat and I keep getting the same message, “less than 1 minute to chat with someone.” and no one has ever come on. I will not pay $25 for something that doesn’t live up to the free chat.

  • Such a Great App for Homeowners!

    Tried the Frontdoor app when we had an issue with our lightbulb burning out and a part breaking off on our range microwave. Called in & the tech, Ken, answered in less than a minute (at 10pm at that)! He was eager to help and gave us great pointers. Definitely a great tool for tech-savvy DIY-ers who aren’t super handy around the house by themselves.

    I love that he didn’t make us feel ignorant for not knowing a simple fix. He was passionate and eager to grab the part number for the right light bulb (that won’t melt off in the future). Will definitely buy the membership when i need it!

  • Absolutely Incredible

    First time home owner here! Never fixed a thing in my life and in 5 minutes Michael helped me and my wife understand what materials and tools we needed for the job at hand, wrote up all items and sent us links to them on Home Depot’s website. We ordered the equipment, picked it up and came home to start fixing a leak in our outside pipe that fed water to our irrigation. Got back on the app and luckily got Michael again! Within 45 minutes we worked through the project and fixed the leak. The app was seamless and extremely high quality. Amazing tool and team at Frontdoor! Highly recommend for anyone looking to fix something they aren’t sure how to fix or confident in. We paid $25 for the year for this service which is an absolute steal. I would’ve paid $200-$400 for a plumber to come out and fix it but instead paid $75 for the tools and equipment.

  • What a great experience

    Had problems with 3 3-way switches, in our house and struggled for a couple of days trying to figure it out. Called “Frontdoor” and worked with a tech, Jeremiah, who was a phenomenal… he was patience , articulate and very approachable.
    Jeremiah, was very much a professional and knows his trade.
    He walked me through a few troubleshooting steps and found the issue, Jeremiah stayed on the phone with me till I checked all the light switches and confirmed proper operations.
    This was a great service… I’m upgrading the app!!!!
    Loved it!

  • Drew is awesome.

    He did an amazing job. This is my first time using the app, and I was connected within five seconds with Drew. He gave directions that we could understand and he was able to diagnose the problem with our washer fairly quickly. I liked that He explained everything as we went along, identifying every part and what it’s purpose was in the machine. I’m actually going to tell everybody about this app because that was pretty cool. Thanks, Drew.

  • Amazing service! I just discovered this ;)

    I just discovered this service and I was tackling an electrical issue for which I needed guidance so I gave this a try and couldn’t be happier!
    A guy named Adam with 25 years of experience as an electrician helped me. It was great, I got a dimmable fixture installed and he helped me not only to have it connected but gave me very useful information along the way! I’m subscribing to the unlimited service now ;)
