i thought its like the next door app that is free and for the community recommendations . but, you gotta signup first for premium account to use. if you’re looking for professional services your best bet is google search and look for their reviews or recommendations from your friends. dont pay for the app that google can do the same thing. the only difference is you can facetime the professional but knows how long is the facetime or if there’s additional fee for that.

I have a few tools and willing to get a little dirty to save me the $200 trip. In 30min my pro, Maverick, was able to diagnosis my oven issue and tell me which parts I need which are on their way now. Install should be easy but if I need to I can call again so they step me through it. The savings with Frontdoor paid almost paid for the part. I’ll be using them again, but hopefully not soon. Like a lot of other people I tried to create an account but clicking on the email link to verify just puts you in a loop back to the login screen. Was never able to create an account. Seemed like a good idea (if only it worked).

I’ve tried several times — unsuccessfully — to log in to my account. I couldn’t remember my password so I tried several times to reset it. The app sends me an email link to reset it, but when I click the link it immediately sends me to the FD page in the App Store. Then, when I click the “open” button, it just returns me to the FD app log in, however there’s no option to reset the password. Essentially, I’m locked out.
