  • A Lifesaver for Appliance Troubles! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

    As an employee of FrontDoor I can truly say I am proud of where I work! I recently faced a rather frustrating problem with my brand new Greystone oven in my Cedar Creek 38ebs 5th wheel. No matter what I tried, I simply couldn’t get the oven to light. Jim from the appliance team on the FrontDoor app – a true godsend! From the very beginning, Jim exhibited professionalism and expertise. He was patient and methodical, walking me through every step to determine the root of the problem. After a comprehensive check, we discovered a clogged gas line was the culprit. With Jim’s guidance, we purged it with air, reassembled everything, and voilà! My oven’s gas burner lit up instantly, making my journey from none to done! I can’t emphasize enough how much time, money, and hassle Jim and Frontdoor saved me. The alternative would have been a tedious back-and-forth with the RV dealership. As a prime member of Frontdoor, I’ve truly realized the value of this app. For anyone on the fence, take it from me: if you’re not using Frontdoor, you’re genuinely missing out on a seamless and efficient solution to household challenges, and RV headaches too! A huge shoutout and thank you to Jim for his exemplary service!
  • So easy!

    I was trying to replace a light switch and couldn’t figure out what was going on with the wiring on the old switch. I’d heard about this app but had never tried it. Used the free call and John answered in less than a minute. He was very patient, professional, knowledgeable, and explained everything so that a non-handy man like me could understand it. He stayed on the call until the switch was replaced and the light was on. Afterward, I immediately decided to upgrade to prime. If every experience is like that one, it will be more than worth the cost!

  • Amazing

    Amazing app
    Amazing people working walking you through with patience…

    Saved me a lot of money… when other techs was way over charging me to get my microwave fixed…

    They walked me through taking the microwave apart and testing different parts… found the part that was fried… they sent me the part number. Ordered the part cost me $15…. Saving me $300 highly recommended a member for life.

  • Fantastic

    Heard about Frontdoor on a podcast commercial. Soon after, I had a problem with my fridge and decided to try it out. The Frontdoor technician was able to walk me through disassembling, identifying the problem, and ordering a replacement part in the span of 30 minutes on a Sunday afternoon. Huge time and money saver.

  • Turns out I’ve wasted hundreds!

    My washing machine wasn’t draining and within 30 minutes of front doors help, I had it up and running! I’ve always used service people to do this for me but I didn’t knees to! So easy

  • Really helpful for new homeowners

    I am Frontdoor employee and a new homeowner. it gets really tough to spend money for repairs or installations. I had an issue with my refrigerator freezer frosting, expert helped with some tips which fixed the issue. Time and money saved

  • Work half done

    Very helpful and friendly while on the phone with the experts. Issue comes in when you need to go purchase extra materials. Your first free session expires and you have to upgrade to prime to finish the work. Now my project isn't finished and I have to pay more money.

  • Video consultation no show

    As sign on bonus they give you one free video consultation with an expert. My expert never appeared in the call, I then got a message saying my free call would be refunded, please allow up to 5 minutes. Never refunded, could not rejoin the queue, no more free consultation. Awesome!

    The app sounded good from reviews. I appreciated that many disclosed they were written by employees.

    Unfortunately to use it you have to give them permission to unilaterally record the video sessions and use them however they like. I’m section 11a of their terms of service you must explicitly waive your rights of privacy:

    “ the Video Expert may see you via video and (ii) initiate recording the video of that chat session (" Video
    Recording"). By using our Video Services, you consent to the Video Recording of any chat session that you have via Video Services and you give your permission to Frontdoor to use your likeness and voice in connection with such Video Recordings, and you release Frontdoor and anyone acting under its authorization from any claims that any use of the Video Recordings as authorized herein violates any of your rights, including any rights of publicity or privacy.”
