Amazing So Far
I have always been a huge fan of the Myst series, going all the way back to the beginning. I’m delighted to see this release, and was happy to pay to get the full version. For those who are complaining about the CGI graphics, you can change that in your display settings: just change to classic mode and you’ll see everything as it once was. I loved the desktop version but developers can’t just tinker with these versions and say they are mobile app. The game takes forever to load the opening sequence and I couldn’t get navigation to work at all to even try the game. No wonder so few people have it downloaded currently, despite the good ratings. Terrible versionShow lessAmazonia1958

I played Myst when it first came out, and hearing the music and seeing the world again really brought me back! I found the controls on my iPad mini intuitive, and the art, gameplay and storytelling holds up wonderfully all these years later. Solving these puzzles and exploring the different ages has been very satisfying. Thanks for doing justice to this classic!Show lessDan50001

30 years on I’ve actually completed it…
Great version, wonderful visuals, have been playing it with my poorly 8 year old on my iPhone 13 ProMax, Screen Casting it to our AppleTV 4K on the 60” OLED so we had to let the phone cool off regularly. The whole experience with the sound through two paired OG HomePods (plus two paired HomePod minis for the rear sound) is fantastic.
Please please release a version for AppleTV 4K (A15 chip after all) and please update the game with the additional age treat found using the imager in the secret hexagonal book case.Show lessRobert Paul Wilton

Not compatibl & not full game
Tried to download on ipad gen5 and it is not compatible. Downloads OK on iphone but although it doesn’t state on site and it says it’s free this is not a full game.Wellnifty

Have yet to buy the unlocked game, but wandering around the island and checking out a few puzzles I expect to purchase it soon. I use the Logitech combo touch keyboard with this and it works quite well - sometimes the touchpad on the keyboard will act up at times, and in that case I will just use the touch screen to make the action which is seem less.
The game itself brings that atmosphere of wonder and mystery that anyone gets when playing Myst. It’s been so long since I’ve played the classic that I am thoroughly pleased with this new mobile version.Show lessAloysiusfreeman
Really masterfully done
I just rediscovered Myst a year ago and blew through the prior IOS ports. This one is different, it’s more like a remastering or a reboot. Can we expect the sequels to receive the same treatment, if even as expanded DLC options within this app?NoNick2Stick
