Reviews of Bevel

  • Compared to Whoop…

So, I have Whoop and the metrics are way off. My sleep, strain, and recovery rings aren’t the same as whoop and make no sense. The even the cals burned are about 20 off even though my Apple Watch says 20 less and my Whoop has it 300 less. But, understand, Apple restarts their stats after midnight whereas Whoop restarts when you wake up for the day. So I’m unsure how Bevel does theirs but there metrics are off base even if they’re taking data from both Apple and Whoop. Weird. But, it’s a nice app and if they got that fixed, I’d use it again.

    Developer Response

Hi, thank you for the feedback! The app needs at least 60 days of data before showing accurate metrics. If you're still having this issue, can you please email us at hello@bevel.health?
  • Tried many of them and love Bevel

I’ve used Athlytic, Gentler Streak and now Bevel and like Bevel’s UI the best. Athlytic has more data that I didn’t use, and Bevel is more complete than GS.

I do still use GS’s superior watch app for my workouts as the heart rate zones are clearly readable. Wish Bevel would improve the watch app.
  • Incredible app and exciting vision

I’ve tried practically every fitness gadget and app on the market e.g. Whoop, Oura, Fitbit…you name it. I have a high bar for fitness apps because I use them multiple times a day, and I don’t want to spend time navigating ugly, buggy and hard to use UI. This app not only delivers above and beyond anything I’ve tried, it does so with a meticulous attention to detail that really shows. There are still some kinks to iron out, but that’s hardly worth noting for an app out publicly for only a few months. I’m really excited by the direction and potential of this app! Keep up the great work.

    Developer Response

Thank you for the kind words! We're glad that you are enjoying the app. We're working hard to improve the app even further :)
