Have to manually check the websites
We have to manually check a website, after opening it... It doesn’t use a vpn functionality to pre-detect malicious websites like other popular apps.
I decided to pay for this app because the developer mentioned that they don’t sell their users data.

Buggy straight out of the bag?
I bought this thinking it had the most bang for its buck - at just over £5 a year it seemed that way for sure, and it may still proved to be the case.
Unfortunately, my dealings with this within the first hour haven’t been as smooth as they should be. I went pro, got the vpn add on as well. However, whenever I try to register or sign up using my google account, I get a message saying ‘an error has occurred please try again later’.
Now I ask myself, what good is this if I’m paying for something I can’t receive the full benefits of. Hence the 2 stars.Show lessJw0307
AVIRA MobileSecurity for iPhone VPN PRO drops frequently
Avira Prime Suite subscriber in US for almost three years on PCs and iPhones. Added MobileSecurity app to iPhone July 2019. PHANTOM VON PRO for iPhone stayed on reliably until some time in February 2020. Tech Support not able to resolve after weeks of trying. We must reconnect VPN about every time we want to browse online or open email links. Sad.
Just updated Avira MobileSecurity app. VPN feature stayed connected about 30 minutes and it disappeared. Just flew away again.

It had an email from you saying that there is a new version of this. I can’t find it. I am not getting the pro version which I have a subscription for. me.
There is a new released version available to download on the app Store. the version 4.3.1 Build No 322.

CONFUSING!!
The epitome of a Pycho Ex and “Baby Mama Drama”. I’ve had to close 5 email accounts. My Facebook. Anyway that’s why I got this app and even bought a iPhone 11 and a new phone number after 13 years having the same number. But, this is a confusion app. Idk if I’m protected? How I am exactly? The website has all my info and picture. The app doesn’t. It still tells me to install PWM. I’m not sure if this applies to Apple or Avira? But I’m signed in to my new iCloud account and the app was added to the old phone I wanted rid of and suspected was hacked. Now I’m worried all the work I’ve done was for nothing? Because I can’t find out why I can’t locate my devices. It keeps saying it didn’t have my location. It seems like it’s just hard to navigate and understand fully what exactly it’s doing to Protect your info or how?Show lessLAA NOLA
Best app for protective services!
This app is so well made with a variety of ways to keep you comfortable, I cannot speculate how useful this app is against viruses as I have ridden 13 viruses off my phone, furthermore, the app is free so that is a win on my end and or any other downloaders. thank you so much Mobile Security! 🔐HelloImAUser
Not What I Expected
Even with the paid Pro version Avira uses and requires Google 'services' as part of protecting you so if you don't mind being incessantly spied on by Google while being 'protected' then go for it. Personally, I want to be protected FROM Google and other bottom-dwelling data miners rather than being in bed with the biggest of them all. This is a dealbreaker for me.
My only other gripe would be that in the limited time I used this app it appears there is but one color scheme and that is black text on bright white background. I have some light sensitivity vision issues and to me it is almost like looking at a flashlight. I thought we were beyond one-size-fits-all here in 2019. Developers should offer at least a dark theme in this day and age.Show lessBishopKnightKing

When I try to log in it says that there's an error and to try again later but if I try again later the same thing happens. So how do I possibly fix this and if I can't will you do it brcause there was someone with the same issue. Also any kind of logging in like Facebook Google and the manual log in all say that there was an error and to try again later.Show lessWalker2016
Are you serious?
This is one of the most overrated mobile security Apps I’ve had the misfortune to use. I find it very user unfriendly, it keeps on asking me to upgrade to the pro version, irrespective of the fact, I have!

Free version excellent, pro version is a scam
I thought free version was excellent, so therefore i decided to get the pro version, signed up to subscription (can view the subscription in the apple’s subscription tab) however the ads haven’t been removed also when i try to do restore purchase it loads for like 1minutes and then return with alert message stating licence can’t be found.
App support, is also rubbish cannot seem to navigate around the website and you do eventually log into the dashboard no subscriptions are shown there.
Therefore i rate this app 1star (should give it 0 stars if possible) as i have wasted my money.Show lessCtailor1990
