does not work.
Does not work on my new macbook pro. I've deleted and reinstalled the app a dozen times and it will not work. I guess my smart pen is done for when it runs out of space on it.The.Ned.Flanders
Nice idea, poorly executed
I started with the little notebook that came with the pen, managed to get page one working and seemed fine.
Then tried writing on page 2, nothing recorded on the iPad and some of the writing from page 1 disappeared.
Purchased a full sized notebook and no matter how much I try I can’t get anything to appear on the Ipad. Online instructions are useless, given up.

Handwriting-text could use work

This is a horrible product
I have the symphony and this is constantly disconnecting. It always asks me to register where I can skip everything. But it always has a “green check box to subscribe to emails.” Doesn’t recognize my notebooks. Can’t set up the pin because it doesn’t exist (even though there are instructions on the livescribe website). This app is horrific.Show lessDMX-MyNameIsDan

Barely works
The app barely works. You can only listen to recordings when the pen is connected, and you cannot export the audio without the desktop app.
The freezes regularly, is incredibly sluggish all the time and disconnects from the pen’s Bluetooth on a regular basis.

i’ve been a livescribe users since the very first model of the echo pen. The software has definitely come a long way and while I wish some of the experience was a little smoother in the app, I still think this is the most reliable system for physically writing and digitally capturing on the market today. I have tried all of their competitors and none compare. I have all of my physical notebooks back to the early 2000s on a shelf. They never run out of batteries and they never need rebooting. On my computer, I have the digital captures. It really is the best of both worlds.Show lessnemock
Why the SPAM?
We already own your pens and your app has been mediocre at best. But now you’re spamming us too?? Whoever thought it was a good idea to run an ad EVERY TIME the app is opened should have their heads examined. If this isn’t removed from the app, days as a LiveScribe customer are going to be over.sf00yyc
