Flipp adds things to the list that I didn’t put on it!

I’ve had this app for quite a while but it has some major issues the main one being that it randomly adds items to my shopping list that I didn’t put on there myself. On numerous occasions it added different kinds of alcoholic beverages to the list (no one in my home drinks) amount other things. I have reached out to report this issue numerous times and nothing ever gets fixed and I never hear back. Another issue is that if you have multiple people using the list, it can take hours for the list to update sometimes. So if you add oranges to the list at 9am it may not appear on the other persons app until 11am or even later sometimes. None of these issues have been addressed despite them being aware of their existence. I have now switched to a new app that works much better and updates almost instantly across devices and never adds anything to the list on its own. It is called OurGroceries.

Latest Update is Awful!

In the search screen, you added ‘your favourite stores’. There is no need for these logos on this screen, and just clutter the screen.
You also deleted the option to delete current searches. Why?

Quickly went from a 5-star rating to a 1-star.

You really should ask your users what changes would help them, and make things easier. They are the ones who use (or now ‘used’), your app regularly.

Flipp app is not ready for prime time

I used to use the ReeBee app and was very disappointed when it was acquired by Flipp. Flipp is not nearly as easy to use and has some very annoying characteristics. There are no page numbers in the flyers in the Flipp app. Items are circled in bight yellow, as apposed to a check mark in ReeBee. The bright yellow is difficult to see against many backgrounds, especially the No Frills flyer, and often covers up the item price, which makes it difficult for price matching when in a store. If you create your lists on one platform, for example a tablet, there is no way to port it to another platform, for example a phone.

I reported these concerns to the Flipp team over a year ago but since I have not seen any changes to the app I can only assume they do not intend to address these issues.

Disappointed

This app used to be good more than a year ago is very good, but now it is lacking in many ways. It doesn’t show the sales at some stores like it used to. I goin the store and say oh it’s on sale now it’s not on Flipp.

Flipp has it all

I was told by a neighbor about the app Flipp. She was visiting family in Canada and her sister was using the Flipp App. Laura said she could see the sale ads in Canada and then again when she went to her brothers in another part of Canada. When Laura came back to the states, she could see all the ads where she lives. No need to reset the app. I love it so I can compare the ads from the groceries before I make my shopping list. I love that I can pull up the Aldi’s ad! I didn’t know Dollar Tree had a sales flier online! I rarely shop at Dollar General or Family Dollar but now I can see what sale ads they have for the week. I have to compare prices now because food costs have gone up in price. It is a great app!

Flipp Glitch

Removes my items without my instructions, shows created lists as unavailable when items are available.

Lot of issues with new updates

Not able to mass delete the deals marked which are expired
Not able to number of marked deals for the item

Not happy

Used to be awesome and they reverted backwards. Bring back the last version. Now you have to delete expired ones, the other version automatically deleted them. So confusing now.

Please inform Dollar Tree

I love the Flipp app. I hate that most stores do not have sales papers anymore so this does help. I looked at Dollar Tree and I went in. I did end up getting what I wanted after having an employee tell me they do not have a sales paper, they do not put anything on line and it must be a customer posting stuff. She wouldn’t help me find something and told a customer when I turned the corner these customers don’t know what they are talking about. I opened up the app and went back in the aisle she then said well a customer must be posting it then. I was so mad but I did the right thing and walked away. I started the conversation by saying hello. She said nothing back.
