  • Not connecting.

    I bought this camera for my baby’s room, at the time was being used under Cooconcam app and it worked fine. However due to company closing we had to download the manufacture app and followed the prompts to get it working and it takes forever to connect to WiFi. At the end it does not connect due to invalid ID or password which is on the back of the camera. It’s frustrating because I really need it since I am a working mom and Need to have a peace of mind knowing that my baby is safe at home. Please help.

  • Cocoon Cam Doesn’t Work with this APP

    Received an email from Cocoon Cam that their app would no longer work after May 31st and were told to switch to this (which is allegedly the “manufactures app”). However, their app actually went down on April 30th forcing us to immediately switch. Connecting it was tedious. And, more importantly, this app does NOT properly support the Cocoon Cam features. It has been an absolute nightmare and went from half working (video only, with no sound, alerts, or being able to speak to my baby through the phone) to disconnecting completely. We tired to reconnect it several times via the instructions and now it won’t work at all. It has consistently been saying offline since last night. I have a teething baby who’s also not the best sleeper. He was up crying several times last night and it would have been helpful to have a camera that was actually STREAMING PROPERLY. Basically, this app switch is forcing us to trash the cocoon cam and spend more money on a different camera. NOT HAPPY.

  • Internet must be 2G

    I use the camera to check in on the dog during the day. Only issue I had was during initial set up. I kept trying to connect using 5G internet unsuccessfully. After reading further into camera I switched WiFi to the 2G and it connected no problem. Haven’t had any issues since. I wish it would alert me when motion was detected but for the price I can’t complain too much.

  • Not functions

    Not sure what’s happening with this. Purchased it about a month ago and it continues to go offline. My WiFi is always on and running. I have to keep resetting it. I should not have to do that. I would like to actually view my home when I want to from anywhere. That’s the purpose of a security cam. Definitely returning this. Also, they don’t make it easy for you to ask for help from whom ever the manufacturer is. It’s a hard no for me on this one. The only pro, is the color and how small it is.

  • Doggo Cam

    I’ve had 4 of these cameras since December 2017 and they all work great. My WiFi router crapped out, and setting the cams up on the new router was just as easy as the first time. I did have minor trouble on one camera, but it was operator error. I recommend following the directions carefully each time to reset cams if needed. The app has not given me issues at all either. Connects within home over WiFi and on the road away from home every time.

  • Works Great!

    Brought this just 8 months ago and works great does everything it says it does. Video is good quality speaker works and very very easy to set up. I’m confused over why this camera has such a low rating. Would and have definitely recommended this for friend and family who want something cheap but good.

  • Doesn’t work!

    I’ve had this camera for over a year and it has never worked!! I tried again this evening and actually thought it might work, but no, nothing!! I want and need to protect my home business and thought purchasing this HD Cloud IP Camera, Mega Pixels PTZ IP Camera, would be the ticket. I have good WiFi connection so that’s not the issue. When trying to connect it states that if unable to connect, to press the reset button. There is no reset button!! There is also nowhere to connect via Ethernet, not that I would want to do that, but my device doesn’t have that option. Pest inspector is coming tomorrow... hope he doesn’t have sticky fingers cause I might never know he helped himself to my beautiful items until I’m looking for it!! Ugh!!

  • Works pretty good.

    I have no problems with the Wi-Fi connectivity. Has a good picture and has a wide range of panning. You can record well viewing it in live mode. But the app does not allow you to have the camera detect motion and start recording automatically which is what I was hoping it would do in case someone were to break in and start taking things. It would be nice to have a zoom option also. Otherwise I find it to be a pretty solid app.

  • A few issues

    Seems to have developed issues following updates. As said elsewhere motion alerts can be weird. Sometimes it unleashed a torrent of alerts/emails for no reason, yet when a trigger should have happened, nothing.

    Occasionally hangs needing a power cycle, not reboot.

    Email alerts can take ages to arrive. Oddly FTP alerts hit my FTP server quickly but something seems to be delaying the email function.

    Latest which has prompted new review, on my phone it has started failing with a max users exceed warning. 1 I didn’t know there was a setting for this 2 nobody else accesses my cam but me 3 it doesn’t do this on other devices.

    Shame really as at 1080 the picture isn’t bad. Which reminds, on reboot it defaults to low res. I have to schedule reboots in an effort to stop the hangs, but it’d be nice if it set resolution to max.

  • Not Good

    I gave this camera a star because there weren’t any 1/2 stars.
    It has good daytime images, nighttime are very unclear.

    Can’t set motion, to sense motion for certain hours.

    Sound system doesn’t work, microphone or speaker.

    There are no clear instructions with it, I had to use trial and error
    to get things working, tried contacting help, the answers I got were on topics I wasn’t asking about.

    The field of vision is very small, I have other cameras with a 130 degree field.

    Would not recommend.
