  • Losing points and steps

From the beginning the app will not count all of steps, I have been losing as much a 3000 steps in one day. And as of the 15th it has stopped counting them all together. We have tried everything, even taking the app off and putting back on. I have a fit bit, and a Apple Watch , neither will work. This app is messing up again.

  • Walker Tracker App for Great Circle

This app is horrible! It claims it syncs up easily to log steps from Fitbit device... it does but it’s not accurate! It does not log the sleep information at all. Nor does it recognize all the points. I’ve blogged 6 days where it did not give me the points for it... so I’m missing 6 points. As a competitive person this app (while the idea is good the functionality of it is horrible) it infuriates me that I’m not getting my points to reflect the actual score I should have!

  • Decent app

I just wish that it would add in other types of workouts automatically, like weight training and cycling. Also, it doesn’t seem to covert my mileage to the right amount of steps. I ran 15.1 one day, without my other steps, and it reported my daily steps as 13.1. I have the stride length right. Maybe steps run being longer than those walked plays a factor in calculations?

Hi There! Depending on the program you are in, you can convert activities such as weight training and cycling. If you are interested in converting activities such as those, I'd recommend contacting your program admin. There isn't a function that allows activities to be converted automatically. When you mention you are converting your mileage to steps, are you entering the number of minutes that you are running/walking to convert your steps? Can you contact us at support@walkertracker.com and provide more details about your concern?
  • Little Top Drive Thru

A group challenge app is always a extra source of fulfillment of a life need and brings encouragement from others. This group is either local or expanded areas which give a local outlook and abroad.
This app will go great with my daily prayers and devotions .
  • Not syncing with Apple health

The app was working fine until the last update now it is not syncing with my apple health app. I am doing a competition for work and now I am not sure if I will be able to finish because my steps are not being updated. My work uses this app for the commotion. I have deleted and download the app multiple times and still nothing.

Our apologies! The development team identified the issue and have provided and update (v2.9.15) to the app store. Please download it and your steps should then be corrected. If they don't post after that, please let us know by sending a message to support@walkertracker.com. Thank you.
  • App no longer working!

This app was great but with the last update it mo longer connects to Apple Health. I’ve power-cycled my iPhone and switched off and on tracking with Apple Health but the app still says 0 steps for today. It was working yesterday before the latest version.
  • Update broke App again

App was working great until the most recent update 2.9.14. When syncing with apple health, no steps are recognized any more. The update also threw my history out of whack and no longer mirrors the history in apple health. Seems every “update” causes even more issues and are not thoroughly tested for break/fix. Very disappointed as I’m currently halfway through a challenge and can no longer record steps.

  • Good, but Not Great

I do like the app and it does a good job syncing with my fitness tracker and displaying my results. The major problem I've found is that not all participants in challenges show up on the leader board. This is a major problem when I'm trying to stay in the top 20, but only some of the leaders are displayed.

  • Good, but I have concerns

Overall, this app is user friendly and appeases the eye; however, I’m a little thrown when you add an activity that it automatically adds steps to what you’ve already accomplished. For example, you can’t just state that you’ve gone running without it adding steps to your total, which were already added when you were running. This concerns me when it comes to the legitimacy of the challenges because it seems that some people are achieving more steps than they’re actually attaining. Plus, when you’re using a fitness app, you want it to be accurate so you know what you’re really accomplishing and can set future goals. With that said, I do like that the app is able to convert so many different activities into steps, such as swimming, when you aren’t able to have your device (phone) with you.

Thank you for your feedback! When you add an activity in Walker Tracker, you are using the "Convert an Activity" tool that is available in your program. There are some activities you can convert such as running, or walking. Those are available to participants that aren't able to track their steps using a wireless device/mobile app, or if someone decides that they don't want to wear their wireless device/mobile app for that specific activity. Sometimes participants use their phone to track their steps, and they don't want to carry their phone as they run; this is when converting an activity such as running would be perfect. We don't recommend converting an activity such as walking, if you already have your device on you; that would be counting double your steps. I hope this addresses your concern. Please reach out to support@walkertracker.com, and let us know if we can answer any other questions or concerns!
  • Awesome way to walk

There are competitions to encourage to walk, there are virtual visits to different places in the world and most importantly one can talk to people from all over the world in those competitions. What a better way to get the steps and make friends!!!!
