Absolutely awful company do not use at any cost. I booked a taxi for myself and 13 friends from Bristol to Exeter in the early hours. After taking my booking a week before they decided to cancel the day off the planned journey.
Stressed at the fact myself and mates will be left stranded in Bristol I rang them up to resolve the situation. Whilst on the phone the operator explained that they had cancelled the booking due to the time of day. He then went on to tell me that they could fulfil the booking but at a greater cost.
I wasn’t particularly happy about this but agreed as we had no other way back. Whilst on the phone i specifically asked if they could 100% fulfil my booking to which he promised me they could.
So I went on to pay (again) before receiving my initial refund.
My mini bus was due to pick us up at 5.15 they emailed me cancelling this at 3am!!! 2 hours before! Leaving me and 13 friends stranded in Bristol!

Would recommend not using this company as they’ll probably cancel on you (after taking your money weeks before) leaving your plans in pieces. I paid out over £700 for a taxi that never arrived.

SCAM ARTISTS
DO NOT USE. I booked with them a two way trip to the airport and back which they consider 2 separate trips booked at the same time as 1 journey. They Cancelled last minute the day I was meant to fly, and refunded. I then attempted to book with them again and had no confirmation of my booking, I couldn’t risk the taxi not turning up so I had to choice to cancel and book something more secure. I cancelled after ringing, messaging and leaving messages in regards to whether it had been confirmed or not with no reply. This cancellation has cost me £66, they have a completely unjustified cancellation policy when I cancelled due poor communication, they don’t answer their phones and have awful customer service. BOOK DIRECTLY WITH TAXIS NOT THIS APP.

Avoid this company at all costs
Avoid at all costs unless you want to be stranded and scammed of money. I booked a taxi to go to an event in London. Taxi was cancelled on the day. Tried to book another taxi but said unconfirmed in the app. Tried calling all day but always on voicemail. I received another cancellation message and in app still showing unconfirmed. Booked with a different company which turned out to be Taxicode with another name. Booking still unconfirmed only hours before I had to leave. Cancelled again in app as had no details and no confirmation. They are refusing to give me full refund. They are dishonest company. Wish I’d seen the negative reviews beforehand. Better off using a local, reliable taxi service.

A huge scam
Booked my journey and paid the fare in advance.
I was due to take the flight on 7am so I booked the taxi to pick me up at 4am and take me to Stansted airport. At 11pm of the day before I didn’t have a confirmation yet, despite I rang them and left a voice message. Thus I have been forced to book with another company and cancel the order with Taxicode in order to don’t risk to lose the flight. Result: no refund because I’ve cancelled the day before!
I suppose they were expecting for me to wait, praying that someone would have come to pick me up without any notice. But MY money was already in their account while I was in a limbo!!
I’d give no stars if it could be possible!

Completely rubbish and a rip off.
Booked taxi for my dad. It was gone to their portal this is not a company they pass their jobs to other local taxi for the area you book for they protend to be local to you. They charge alot more then price show. And in their terms and conditions they charge every month subscription fees without you even notice. So for wholw year you’re paying them for nothing. And my booking got cancelled in the end just 1 hour before my dad was suppose to go hospital because they take 40% in their pocket and they pay only 60% to the local company.
When i rang the company thats what they told me. And asked me to book with them directly so please don’t use this rubbish service. My refund still not processed.

Do not use this app!
I needed a cab for Xmas day and had a look at what minicabs were out there as I didn’t want to use an Uber (now I wish i had). I found this app and read a few good reviews so decided to use it. I booked my return cab journey a week in advance however we then got notification of being in tier 4 which meant zero travel. This came out on Saturday 19th Dec so I cancelled immediately. The only reason for cancelling was because i had to due to Covid however all I received back was 10% of my £92 booking! Outrageous! I would’ve loved to have seen my parents on Xmas day but I was one of the few following the rules and this company has penalised me for doing so. When I emailed them I received a standard response and no reply to my follow up email. It’s a disgrace and I wish I had booked an Uber as I wouldn’t have been charged for a 6 day notice cancellation fee. This company is a rip off and I would avoid using because heaven forbid if you get sick and need to cancel, they’ll screw you anyway!

No Taxi
I booked a taxi through Taxicode and was given a fare which was taken out of my account. I heard nothing about having my taxi confirmed. I contacted the taxi company who said that they had never heard of Taxicode.
I complained to Taxicode and was promised a confirmation for my journey. Nothing happened.
At 1am a new booking was put on my account and money taken. 20 minutes before the taxi was supposed to arrive the trip was cancelled by Taxicode. On checking out this particular taxi company I found they were based over 20 miles away from where I live.
Their local website makes you think they are in touch with local taxi companies; I’m not sure about that. I am getting in touch with Trading Standards. I await the promised full refund.
