App is terrible
The app functionality doesn’t match the website upgrade . Many glitches such as no direct check in link for saved trips. No date on the flights so when you are looking at the trips it shows flight number and time but not what day or date . Not much testing can have been carried out so although the graphics improved with new branding the functionality went backwards

My experience on the SAUDIA airlines
I loved the experience on this airline , everything was perfect . The takeoff time and the landing time was spot on , the flight was on time. Also , the inside crew were very helpful and extremely nice and pleasant. However I would prefer if there was a direct flight from Madina towards London Heathrow airport and vice versa .

App not responsive
Inputting text is so slow in iPhone 12 Pro Max. You will try passenger full name on keyboard and input field will input that text with big lag. Then selecting expiry day changes month automatically then selecting year reset month and day. Then what far summary promise I.e luggage allowance and free seat selection is contradicted later on when you try to select the seat so some connections it’s free and others it’s not. For some flights 23kg bag allowance is included and others it’s not. Super confusing.

I also extend all my appreciation to the wonderful passport staff and the rest of the staff working with them for the speed of completing and completing tourist visas, to be honest, faster than any country I have visited in the past twenty years. Finally, the utmost respect to the technical staff who completed the delivery of our bags to us faster than expected and in record time. I’ve tried to book a trip many times even after the last update, and never worked with me. ❌Round Trip doesn't function properly most of the time 😤, ❌trips scheduled only shows the time but can’t pick from it🤬, ❌app crashes frequently🤯, and couple more issues 👾👾👾. Not Recommended, unless you wanna waste your time 👺😓👹 لا أنصح به أبداً، سيّء جداً تعليق دائم😡، ولايزال يحتوي على أخطاء برمجية👾👾👾 مضحكة تعتبر من البديهيات ⚠️👎🏻👎🏽👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿

Was so happy I could check in with the Saudia airline app was so easy to use highly recommend for everyone to use if you’re travelling with the 5 star airline
Needs update to improve the app with the new IOS
AS It's getting a lot of errors & there are a lot of squares showing everywhere.. so I think the app needs an update, and please make the currency SAR automatic, not every time I have to change it.. also add apple pay like the website.. the official website is much better than the app...
why you made the default date is “tomorrow”???’
as much as i loved what you did with the new app but why the default date is tomorrow!!?? is is not even tomorrow it as “Tom”?? there is no need to be tomorrow! especially you’re the biggest airline in the country and many passengers need to travel daily between cities!

Digital Transformation?
I have been complaining of the Saudia app for years. It simply is not intuitive nor smooth like other major GCC airlines. It’s like it was designed by 7 year old.
Now a new app was released at a time the airline is talking about digital transformation. Another missed chance as something as basic as logging into my Alfursan account is impossible! It keeps loading forever and when it works an OTP is sent to my phone. I enter this OTP and it tells me it’s wrong ??
No possible explanation or rationale. How can you launch this mess without snagging it ? Saudia you are trying but please try harder …… I deleted the app and will use the primitive way of using the website. Digital regression !
