I have completed 172 projects in the 2 years I’ve been using this app. I used to be offered an abundance of projects and was paid in a timely manner. I truly loved this app! But over the last year the hourly pay rate jobs are more scarce. And for the last 8-10 months I have had a difficult time getting paid on time and getting paid travel bonuses. As stated in other reviews, team leaders sometimes find any reason they can to deny you a promised travel bonus. For example, my most recent assignment consisted of 17 projects in which I was to receive $153 travel bonus upon completion of all the projects. One of the projects was returned to me to revisit. However, I did not have the signage I needed to complete the revision and the team leader refused to ship me the materials I needed so the project was invalidated. As a result, the team leader also refused to pay me the $153 travel bonus. I’m happy to report that middle management overrode the team leader and gave me the travel bonus. That said, You occasionally don’t get the support you need immediately. And in recent months getting paid correctly or on time is a real issue. That said, out of the 4-5 retail gig apps I use Survey Merchandiser is the app I recommend to friends for this type of work.

  • Fair money, often Glitchy app

I was torn with how many stars to give this. If you are in a well populated area, you can make pretty decent money. Many of the jobs are pretty easy. Sometime the guidelines they give you as far as time and ease of the job are deceptive. Unless you’re spending quite a bit of the time in the store staff often treat you as a disruption so they are not always interested in taking time away from their tasks to help you.
My biggest issue with this app is the numerous issues that pop up with different jobs. It seems that whoever is developing the flow has no idea about the actual jobs. The app is often glitchy and not responsive, causing revisits in order to get paid. I have tested computer apps before, and these individual jobs just are not getting thoroughly checked out before being released to people to use them. Unfortunately, the people that are supposed to help you when you are having problems with the job have no understanding of the IT aspect and are not helpful. I recently did, a large project with 195 stores. The program for that particular store did not have a good flow and if you accidentally hit the wrong answer while scrolling, the app was not responsive in properly directing you through the rest of the project. Hopefully the developer reads this.
As someone who has done nearly 300 stores for this company, I would be more than willing to do testing of these individual projects and give feedback.

  • Dont pay properly and very bad problems with app

They will have a rate thats high so you will accept the job but after you complete the job you will be paid less not what your suppose to. The app has issues that i believe are on purpose so they do not have to pay you properly. While on a assignment it will ask question that are irrelevant to whats happening on the assignment. Questions you can not provide pictures for. But if you dont provide a picture or dont answer the irrelevant question you wont get paid. Questions will also change but will happen after you leave the store so you cant answer them. They sent me screen shots of an assignment i did with questions i never seen before that were unanswered. If a job you did isnt accepted you wont be told. So if its not accepted you wont get the money even tho they got theirs. You need to also watch the due date and times its due by. The time will say a later time after the store is closed. So youll think you still have time to complete something but cant when the store is closed. And if you accept an assignment and dont complete it your rating will go down and from then it will only show you assignments for very cheap pay that are very far away that are not worth going to.

  • Beware. Be very very aware.

They will do everything they can to keep from paying you what they owe you. If you decide to give it a shot, screen record and screenshot literally every, single, screen, item, pay breakdown, and document. Have a law firm on call for when they decide to not pay you. Also, be prepared for a very very insidiously unintuitive app experience. Literally the app makes it extremely difficult to access any information, about the offered pay, proof of pay offered for a set position, and information about specific jobs.
On top of all that, they blatantly lie about how long a job will take. 15 min job? No, you do job right and it is 72 minutes, still only get the $7 they offered, even though they lied about the time. 10 min job? No, 47 minutes. 5 minute job? 36 minutes. Seriously. On top of drive time, and MINUS promised travel expenses and reimburements. If they attempt to approve pay lower than what was offered, or not appropriate for time worked, DO NOT ACCEPT. This is a legal point of order. Once you accept the pay they offer, you are accepting it as acceptable pay. Save everything, photos, documents, screenshots, and screen recordings. A class action lawsuit is headed their way.

  • STOPPED PAYING ON TIME FOR COMPLETED PROJECTS

I have been using this app to supplement my income for almost two years and was very pleased with how they paid me until a few months ago. They stay in the app that they have a strict policy of paying six days after completion of a project. Currently, I have 3-4 projects that have been completed for12-15 days. I contacted the app support and they stated that the company for whom I did the project was late paying them so I could not get paid yet.
This is not the first time the app has had happened to me in the past few months. They have become unreliable in paying on time. About three or four months ago I had a similar situation after completing several projects for a different company. At that time, they gave me a similar response to my questioning why I had not been paid for two weeks instead of six days.
Also I live in a rural area so distance between projects is an issue. There is often 30-40 miles between projects. That’s a lot of gas and drive time. This app used to offer travel bonuses for gas. I have not been offered that for about eight months.

  • Legit money making app!

I did a lot of research in trying to go d a legit money making app & I was not disappointed with this one! There’s almost always something available to do within a 20-30min drive. My first week I made over $250. If you use this app like a real job, you can make a stead income or it’s good for a little extra money here and there. Some of the work is super easy and some of it is quite involved. Make sure you read through the preview BEFORE accepting a job as some of them require you to print a sell sheet or letter of authorization prior to going to the store. Also, for example some jobs that might only pay $6, if you read the preview you will see if it’s something quick and easy & with it or if it’s going to be very involved with lots of products and maybe not worth the time it will take. When you first start, it may take a little longer until you get the hang of it, then it becomes quicker and easier! I’ve had no issues getting paid for any of my work and can not recommend this app enough!!

  • Complete waste of time

I was referred to this app by a content creator. That should have been my first clue this was a bad idea. I thought it might be a great way to earn extra money. I should’ve known something was up when one of the representatives called me to speak with me about starting some jobs on the app after I signed up. They must be desperate, because I do a lot of other delivery services and none of them have ever called me to start working!

The problem is you’re severely underpaid or not paid at all for jobs that take up to hours to do yet they claim they take 40 mins to do. All lies!! People on minimum wage make more. I did notice some of the smaller jobs offer more pay, which makes no sense considering they take less time. This is just another set up that allows for corporations to take advantage of people to do work that they don’t want to pay to have done. A lot of these jobs require you to print out materials which cost you money or have materials sent to you. I’m all about doing odd jobs, I’m just not about being taken advantage of and that’s exactly what they’re doing. I worked two hours doing one of their jobs and I’ll never be paid for my time. You’ve been warned!!

  • Shipping labels

I have be requesting shipping labels since day one , and you know exactly how long that has been going on now it seems like months. Oh, iy is months! When I started the displays that were left standing were in need of some help. The product that was pulled from sales floor was thrown in a box and left abandoned. These boxes were picked through several times in hopes of filling an empty space on a display. But the display was no longer available. Waiting for product and shipping labels has been a recurring nightmare for me. With no assistance from or concern from anyone except Nelsy! A bright light in the darkness. She and Cesar are the only reason I’ve made it this long. Done everything application has requested and demanded of me now I want shipping labels to return product to client and still it sits in the back forever waiting for a return label home. Meanwhile the current displays stay helplessly empty urning to be replenished. This review is really just another plea for product and return labels. I have reported this issue through every platform and avenue I know of offhand. Review Reader you are my last hope. Thank you for your concern, sincerely LouieG13, signing off….
