Not a reliable video baby monitor
I've been using this as my baby monitor for a month now and it's super unreliable to the point where it's useless. The camera drops wifi constantly and when it does seem to be "online" the app never picks up the feed and just stays in a loading state so I'm unable to see what's going on in my baby's room. Also, the song feature of the baby monitor plays a song for about a minute and then just stops. I've never managed to get more than 60 seconds of music to come out it even if I set it to 20 minutes. Overall I'm regretting buying this as my baby monitor and have stopped using it.Show lessstephbain
Keeps getting better
I've had the Withings home for almost a year now. When starting out it was a little glitchy. Each update has made it more reliable. They have finally came out with an automation schedule where the camera can shut itself off or change itself to do not disturb. Love this feature!!Feenjean87
Completely unreliable so far
I've owned the Home and used its app for four days now, and everyday the livestream has cut out or the Home has shut off completely, multiple times. The last update seemingly did nothing to improve this. I'm on a fast wifi connection, with no outages in that room.
I can't only hope the next one significantly improves the reliability of this app and device, but at this rate, I'll be returning it before I find out.

Warning - UNRELIABLE!!!
DO NOT purchase this product as a baby monitor!!! I cannot stress this enough!! It is completely UNRELIABLE! I am up at 5 AM and angry because for the 5th time this week it is not working. It says check the power and wifi connection, both of which are definitely working, it is just this product that is so terrible! On top of that, when it doesn't work, the unit glows orange on and off, so now I can't see my baby, and there is a bright orange glow in his room. The only way to make it stop is to sneak in his room and unplug it, and last time I tried that he woke up...
This is an absolutely terrible product and I want to warn all new parents out there. Do not use this as a baby monitor, unless you don't really care about monitoring your baby because it fails so often!!Show lessConcerned New Parent
Very soft... Unusable... Do not buy
This app has never been very good... Bugs in the original version are still present in the current version... It constantly screws up the zoom level... Can't connect to different cameras until you force quit the app and start again... Very unstable with multiple cameras.
The hardware is in a worse state now... Do not buy this camera.
There is something seriously wrong with the manufacturing of these cameras at present. I own in excess of 20 of them. All the ones I have purchased recently (in the last few months) are seriously defective. It seems that when you first plug them in that they are great. Nice and sharp. But after being plugged in a few days something warps in the optics and it goes all fuzzy with a soft focus double image... I plugged 4 of them in a few days ago and monitored the image degradation... I took image grabs of all 4 when first plugged in... All very sharp as expected... 2 days later they are all fuzzy... It occurs with every camera now... Something had been cheapened or changed in manufacturing... So until Withings fix the problem... DO NOT PURCHASE !Show lessGary ft
Great product but needs software improvements
This is a great camera with wonderful features and is perfect to as a nursery monitor but the software needs some tweaks.
1. The microphone can't be used as audio us not muted so a feedback loop is created.
2. In all modes there is a clicking noise. Apparently this is only in the latest firmware but i never used the older software so can't comment.
3. There is no feature to turn on only the night light and select your colour and brightness which is a massive oversight.
4. When playing audio there is a clicking and background noise even if the mode without audio is selected.
Please fix these issues and make the product stable and it will be a 5 star product.Show lessGrigz95

Events don't refresh until the app is force killed and restarted.
Service and camera are often unavailable.

A waste of time. I spent over £100 pounds on this product and it’s not as advertised. Video quality is poor NOT 1080p, unless you spend another £7.99 per month for their cloud services. So the product is deliberately crippled when you buy it. The video only takes bits of movement so you end up with a poor Benny Hill style video. I use this for security reasons and the only way I could get a decent picture from it is if a person walked up to the lens and posed for a picture, even then it would be pixelated. Well designed product spoilt by it’s own manufacturers just to make more money.Show lessJohnsclark
Huge Disappointment
I bought this device with high hopes of a great security system. Not only is the software buggy, but the device itself randomly cuts out. The time lapse is always saying "No Pictures" and when I get a notification, I can't view what it was. Even the live video is laggy with night vision not knowing when to activate. I have really good wifi and this thing loses connection often requiring me to unplug the device and plug it back in. It will also make weird clicking noises that would also require me to unplug the device. Even when the time lapse was working, it would miss key moments and movement if someone were to go outside. My advice would be to stay away from this product.Show lessD-Party
Decent, but buggy and missing features.
Generally the app is ok but it needs a bit of work. A mute button for starters. I've also had the microphone button get stuck on and had to hard close the app to fix it. The lullaby is buggy and tends to stutter/buffer as well.
Since they are marketing this as a baby monitor it needs a direct wifi / no internet mode. I can rely on this if my internet connection drops out.Show lessDlwalter
