Poor App
I live my RainSoft Water filtration system however their app is complete junk. I’ll connect it to the water filtration system, but then somehow it always disconnects later on and I can NEVER get it to reconnect without having to redo the connection process all over again. Now I’m at the point where I can’t get it to connect at all, it’s super frustrating and the app is poorly designed.Show lessTitan-ium17
Failry useless and flawed app
After paying >$10k for a product that has WiFi built in, I would have expected more from the App. The system connected once, now it doesn't connect. The layout is abysmal, the features are worse. The Alert section says “email the dealer.” C’mon RainSoft, I’ve heard good things about the company but the technology integration leaves a lot to be desired.Show lessSARGuy76
Unusable - Can’t Login or Reset my Password
I can’t even login or reset my password through this app and I can find a way to do it through the developers website. This app is unusable and needs to be addressed immediately.
It’s like the password reset button and IBOutlet are not connected at all.ns1830
Back Button Arrow
On iPhone, the app’s back button is buried underneath the clock up in the left hand corner and is almost impossible to touch/use. Otherwise nice little app. Please update app to fix the back button issue.JB3!
Rainsoft app. Is still not connected to water softener system
Please note: I am very, pleased with the water softener system. However, not pleased with the app. (RainSoft Developer). I am disconnected from the wifi and unable to connect to the Rainsoft App. However; I notice as well I need to constantly check the RainSoft App. for regeneration time without being notified. The app doesn't notify me when this process is about to be carried out. I also don't receive notifications about this software problem. I really would love to see this RainSoft application updated to be able to carry out these issues which are so vital to the Rainsoft Water Softener system. For example, regenerating itself. I would also love to be notified of when the application (App) is not connected to wifi.Show lessSmiley Bo
Good app!
Everything works perfect. One of the gui problems I noticed was fixed in couple of weeks. The only one left is that it shows too many digits after the dot when you use metric system instead of gallons.Mik8632467
Nightmare
It’s been a nightmare how to connect to the network. Have been trying since the past couple of days to connect to my network to set the App. Please don’t ship this kind of buggy app to the AppStoreletgo-brampton
Does what it’s made for
The first thing you have to make sure you have at your house is good wifi coverage. People have this perception that just because you pay for internet, that your WIFI coverage is good. I upgraded my WIFI network to add more coverage around the house. This helped with getting the Rainsoft connected to the network with no issues. I’m able to check on the system and make adjustments as if I’m at the unit itself.Show lessMoney Maker 2
Will not reconnect
Lost internet for 20 hours. Now system and app will not sync. Deleted app reinstalled, no luck. As a side not the water softener keeps losing two hours. I keep resetting time. The system needs lots of work. As of now app serves no purpose along with inability to keep time.
Update. It’s been two months now. The water softener sometimes will sync with the app, but it’s usage level on the softener are not in sync. The app says I’m not connected to the softener. So something is not right. These water softeners sell for a premium. Construction wise they do look well made. But the app and the software on the softener itself are lacking. The softener still loses two hours after being reset numerous times. Hopefully RainSoft will push a software update to the softener.
