Scotland trip
Initially I was very happy with the efficiency of the email confirmation prior to leaving the US for our recent 10 day Scotland vacation from Aug19-30. However, on Aug. 19, our plane was delayed at a layover stop in Dublin, and this delayed our arrival at the Edinburgh airport. Our Minicab driver arrived in time at the Edinburgh airport and texted me of his arrival. I quickly told him what happened (texted) and wanted to reschedule the cab time for 11:30. He told me to call or email Minicab, he couldn’t help me. I had an International phone plan but still could not reach Minicab. We finally took a bus to Edinburgh but I had a large suitcase and it was a total struggle. On Aug 30 our Minicab driver arrived early (7am) per our request. I asked the Hotel Bonham staff to call Minicab and Mcab changed our pickup time to 7 am. Overall, in believe this frustrating experience could be avoided if Minicab provided travelers with an easy toll free number to call (no emails!) if their flights are changed mid trip. Thank you.

No response to correct pick up and time
Terrible customer service! They didn’t even respond to Expedia who I have pre paid this with. BEWARE! Hope somehow I do t ha e to spend my short trip to a family event is t spent chasing down my ride back to the airport.
Immediately charged my card and then cancelled!

Abandoned twice in one day
My driver to take us from the airport back to the hotel never showed. There is one place to exit at that time of night, and nobody was there. We went to the area where you hire taxis, which is right by the meet and greet. Nobody there. We looked outside. Nobody there. We actually split up so that we could keep an eye on all three at once.
Remember how I said my phone doesn't work here? The company claims they held a sign for me. There was nobody holding a sign, but they did send an email that I never got. Because of that email, to date, Minicabit is not refunding my money. And I couldn't get the email because wifi was maxed out for the day.
I understand they want to keep their drivers happy or they won't be able to book anyone. However, they did so at the cost of a customer. Being left at the airport with literally nobody in sight TWICE in one day is the worst customer service I've ever had. So fine, one American tourist and her kids is no big deal. I hope this business fails because of bad practices like this.
