  • Food is great App is horrendous

First, they don’t list hours of operation for their stores. Next, something as simple as selecting cheese is never in the same spot between menu items. Sometimes at the beginning of your drop down menu, sometimes at the end. Pick a standard Wayback! They have changed the past orders to be under order. One would believe that to be your current order. They have killed what used to be a great rewards program. Now you have to wait until you are paying to see if you can get a reward. Not all change is progress. This needs serious work Wayback!!!

  • No Help Customer service

I went into the Wayback Burger in Milpitas
No line hardly anyone there during the lunchtime rush.
The people behind the counter said they can't help me and I would have to use their new Kiosk.
It was slow i had to do my order twice and didn't notice the ability to do combos any longer also I had to go to the counter anyway to get my receipt so I could continue earn points.
Maybe I need to spend more time learning this new system but who has the time when others are in line trying to learn also.
I won't be back to this one unless i have plenty of time.
Did I mention service seems to slower
They could at least given me my self serve drink cup while I wait.
I hope other Wayback's have friendlier or more helpful employees.

  • Truely Great Burger Experience!

Wayback Burgers offers a delightful casual dining experience with a focus on high-quality, fresh ingredients. The menu features a variety of burgers, sandwiches, hot dogs, salads, and hand-dipped milkshakes, catering to a wide range of tastes and preferences.
Food Quality: The burgers at Wayback Burgers are juicy and flavorful, made from fresh, never frozen, 100% all-beef patties. For those seeking vegetarian options, the Impossible Burger and garden burger are excellent choices. The hand-dipped milkshakes are a standout, offering a creamy and rich treat to complement your meal
Prices: While the prices at Wayback Burgers are slightly higher than typical fast food, they reflect the quality and freshness of the ingredients.
Overall, Wayback Burgers provides great value for the price, with a unique taste and quality that sets it apart from other food options. Whether you’re in the mood for a classic burger or something a bit more adventurous, Wayback Burgers is a fantastic choice for a satisfying meal.

  • Gas Station

Yesterday, the family and I stopped at one of their DFW locations. The family
liked their burger combos, I had a Philly steak sandwich. The atmosphere of the eatery is located in a gas station grocery store, so it is, what it is; but sometimes a hole-in-the-wall can end up being a gem?
I didn’t know I could have gotten caramelized onions with my sandwich, next time. They put Ranch dressing on the sandwich, next time, I will minus the Ranch dressing. Service was good and they were attentive, the commute was a bit, but worth it, so there will a next time.

  • Love Wayback

We have traveled from Delmar Maryland to Millsboro, Delaware to get your burgers and onion rings thanks for opening a store in Delmar it’s so new and crisp and the employees are so welcoming , just one observation don’t fry the onion rings to long lol it makes them hard hopefully next trip they will be tender! It takes time to train new employees so it’s the start up gitters and will work itself out!! See you again real soon

  • No Apple Pay, a bit clunky

The app is better than it used to be—I like that I can order from the app to dine in, but the interface is still amateurish. Finding the toppings I like on my burger means scrolling through a long list in a nonobvious order, and there is no way to add a side to an individual burger. You can order sides, but they don’t know which side to put with which burger.

But I absolutely hate that they make me enter credit card information into the app instead of letting me use Apple Pay. This puts me at greater risk (am I supposed to trust a random restaurant’s app more than Apple with my financial details?) and it is just a nuisance.

I’d shrug off the clunky interface and give the app five stars if it would just let me use the payment methods I already have set up.

  • App issues

App has a couple of issues, one is when trying to build your own burger it does not give you the impossible version which costs more but is unavailing and when the restaurant calls to fix your order it is unable to change the order. The only option there is is to cancel but it doesn’t allow this it just refers to call the restaurant who also cannot cancel the order.

  • Love the restaurant hate the app

Ever since the update to the rewards system, when I use the app, I cannot login to see my rewards because the login screen will not let me scroll down
  • *** Best Burgers Around ***

*** I always went to the location on Woodruff Road, but then it Closed maybe because of COVID and now the only one near me is an hour away, and I haven’t been there yet but my friends all say the Food & Service are Great !! I wish you guys would Open a Store in Travelers Rest South Carolina because the Quality & Service of your restaurant would keep you very busy. We will not go to Burger King or McDonalds even with all the Deals and Coupons they throw at you. So it breaks down like this, You are the #1 in Burgers like KFC is #1 in Chicken ***

  • Wayaback is awesome. This app is not.

It remembered my order from last time so I started with that. When I tried to change the toppings on a couple of the burgers, it modified the same burger over and over again, regardless of which one I selected. Then I tried to remove one of the burgers so I could build it again from scratch, but it removed a different one from the one I selected. Just order on their website. It's less frustrating.
