Great App
I recently moved to a new place and have a big front and backyard. I was looking for a professional who could cut my grass by-weekly. I googled and came across LawnGuru- which is a life saver. The app is easy to use and I was able to book a provider for the job right away. Best part about this app is you can control when you would like the job done or if you want to skip some weeks you can just pause your subscription. The customer service is also great and very helpful. LawnGuru keep it up, you’re doing great!!

Great App for services
We moved in the summer of 2021 and did not have any idea where to start with finding a lawn service. We found Lawn Guru and it’s been great! The app allows you to book new services, manage current schedule and get in contact with your service provider. We have had a couple of instances where there was a schedule mixup and the chat function in the App allows you to contact someone from Lawn Guru to get your issue solved quickly!

Lawn Guru Rave Review
We have been using Lawn Guru for about three years now and are still delighted with the level of service and consistency that they have! The cuts are always very methodical and the app is super convenient to use for whatever communication that you may want to have with them; and/or alterations that you’d like to make for your service needs. The completed photo once your lawn has just been cut (sent via email to the address that you register with on the app) is also a nice touch. I am usually never home when they come, so the peace of mind while I’m out at work is absolutely a benefit, as well. Highly recommended!

Great concept and very useful
This is a powerful app and platform, and streamlines the process for choosing who can get your work done. I love being able to see who has accepted a job, and also know when they’re coming and once they’re finished. It’s a time and headache saver that is a real winner.
I wish there were more requirements for pictures of the work as the pictures I received were somewhat limited. I also felt a bit slighted that a job said it included a certain service (trim/edging for example) only to find out that it wasn’t actually included unless certain conditions were met. Would have been nice to know that up front.
The customer service is responsive, and while not getting the exact responses I’d want it helps to have communication.
This can be a very useful solution to lawn issues though if you approach it correctly.

Lawn Service for Introverts
I hate dealing with people - nothing worse than small talk. LawnGuru pairs you with a service provider and handles payment for you through your credit card. No negotiations, no trying to sync up schedules for payment, no cash envelopes hidden under your door mat.
I do wish they accounted for driveways and your actual house footprint when calculating size/price though. 2/3 of my property is concrete, but I still pay for 10k sf of lawn service.
Would also be great to “add-on” services per service visit without needing a quote every time.

LawnGuru has been amazing, very happy with mowing results
I was recommended LawnGuru by a subdivision neighbor on NextDoor. I was personally sick of cutting the grass myself! This app has been amazing and lived up to the recommendation! On signup, the app informed me they require a minimum two-week commitment to get a weekly mowing rate. The mowing including whipping and blowing off hard surfaces. During the last five weeks, I have been very happy with both the lawn cutting results and managing the service via the app. I was assigned a local service provider (who was highly rated, background checked) and he diligently mowed with care every time. His truck and equipment looked clean and well-maintained too. The weekly mowing rate was more than fair and reasonable (it was actually lower than a quote I received before using the app). The app itself is easy to use and very fast. Overall given the low cost and timing saving, I’ll be using LawnGuru for a long time to come (or until I have an itch to cut the grass myself—I’ll just pause LawnGuru service for a week!).

pretty good app for the most part
overall i really enjoy the app and most of the service i've received, but there's two things keeping me from giving it five stars. one is that i've had my weekly lawn trimming provider changed in the past with zero warning until the next service is due, which has been a little frustrating since i've had some great providers in the past. and the second one is not being able to request specific providers for special services. i had a really great provider who provided excellent service for weeding and mulching my garden beds a few summers ago, and i would've loved to have used him in the following years. but once a job is completed and it's not recurring, the chat disappears after 24 hours and you are no longer able to message the provider. so overall i love the concept of the app and how when you request a special service, most of the time you'll get multiple quotes and be able to pick the one closest to your price point, but i wish we'd be able to get more notice when our provider is changing or when we like a specific provider and would like to keeping using them :)

Convenient for a busy home owner
I’ve been using the lawn guru app for over 2 years now. After weeks of calling around and trying to find someone local and getting extremely high priced quotes, I was matched with a lawn guru mowing service the same day at an extremely fair price. I’ve had nothing but fantastic service from my mowing service, they are reliable and do a great job. I also have used their service for gutter cleaning and repair and likewise got a same day quote, and the repair man was out within the week and again it was quality work at a fair price. Will definitely continue to use & refer others! It’s so convenient.

So far so good
I’ve only had it for a few months and they are very responsive when you have questions. I had one guy just drop my lawn service out of the blue so we got someone else to cover it and I’ve been pleased with their work. We have had lots of road construction this summer (which made our driveways inaccessible) so I like that you can pause the service and pick it back up. Watch those overgrowth fees because they can quickly double the cost of a job. Personally, I think the overgrowth fees should be less if you’ve signed up for a weekly or biweekly service. But they are also very good at explaining them and giving you a grace period if it’s their fault the lawn didn’t get cut right away. Overall, it’s a good service and I’m happy with it.

Great Service & Flexibility
We have used Lawn Guru for a few years now and have been so happy with it. Every servicer has been incredibly professional and communicative. They let us know if they get behind due to weather or for any other reason. It’s also so nice that I can skip a mowing week if necessary! I just noticed our grass wasn’t very long yesterday so cancelled this weeks cut easily on the app! We also use the snow services and I really appreciate being able to only pay when we need it and not have to pay a large flat amount for the whole season like other companies make you do. If you are looking for professional services and flexible options, I highly recommend Lawn Guru!
