  • Suspended account and no payouts

    My account has been suspended for almost 4 months now and Square is not paying out my funds yet. When I message the support center via mail, I get no response which is not supposed to be so. I would like you to get across to the necessary department and let me know when my funds will be available for payout because it’s long overdue. Since you can’t continue to process payments for my business, at least you should be able to transfer the funds to my bank account without hassle. What’s the delay and when am I getting my funds to my bank account?

  • Was perfect but… “updated”

    I use this app many times a day to keep track of sales but they updated it today and now it’s crap and more confusing I wish you would of left it alone. if it ain’t broke don’t fix it!

    Thank you Developers for switching back to the older version it is much better sometimes simple is better.
    Dashboard app is for quick checking of sales when I need a more in-depth detailed analysis I use the square app.

  • Was great till the latest update *Updated

    Updated my review as the “Hello” update has been reverted and instead I have an actually useful sales chart.
  • Restore the 52-week comparison!

    UPDATE: I’ve restored a better star rating, now that I see this feature is back. Please make it stay this way! There wasn’t anything wrong with your updates, per se, but at the very least, you must retain the older features as options, because many of us find them essential.

    SUGGESTION: Add an option for the 52-week-ago comparison to custom ranges. There is no technical reason not to include this. (Even if there’s an overlap, though it might be good to note this.)

    ORIGINAL: Our business relies on making a comparison to the same day 52 weeks prior (364 days; not the same date during the previous year). Weekends are much busier for us than weekdays, so comparing a Saturday to a Friday is USELESS. I cannot believe you’ve removed this feature. UNACCEPTABLE!

  • If it ain’t broke don’t fix it

    Square updated this app and completely destroyed it overnight. 52 week comparisons are now gone in favor of “one year ago today” comparisons. As a service establishment why would I care how a Thursday last year compares to a Saturday this year just because they’re on the same date? I need to be able to compare the corresponding day from the same month (I.e 52 weeks ago) to be able to draw any conclusions about trends in business levels.

    Dollar amounts are also gone as well as any legibility in terms of hour by hour sales. I honestly have no idea how this was approved but they took a simple but extremely useful app and utterly nuked it for no reason.

    Square, if you’re reading this, PLEASE roll back to the previous version and beta test new versions with your very high paying customers next time.

  • Please go back to older version!

    This updated version is terrible! Took away the option to compare to 52 weeks ago to see a true comparison! Hourly graph is awful and basically useless. The previous version was perfect as it was.
  • Hate this new version!

    Why did you change this app? The new version is terrible, impossible to read and now useless. Loved the old bar graphs especially for hourly sales. I depended on that multiple times a day. Now I have no idea what’s going on. New graphs are unreadable. Bring back the old version or at least let me go back to the old version.

  • Terrible upgrade

    They pushed out an upgrade in the middle of the busy holiday season without warning. I’m not a fan of the new interface but the main reason for the one star review is they removed the ability to compare sales to the same day 52 weeks ago. That’s the feature I use most.

    UPDATE: The developer responded and what’s more embarrassing is they don’t even understand how their own app works. I’ve tried the solution they proposed and it compares the sales to the same DATE a year ago not same day 52 weeks ago. So for example it compares Black Friday sales to Thanksgiving Day sales a year ago because they are the same date. That’s USELESS please bring back the 52 week comparison that existed in the previous version so I can do things like compare 3rd Saturday sales in December to 3rd Saturday sales in December 1 year ago. Also I have since discovered that you’ve removed the sales by hour graph so I can no longer look at my sales curve for each day. You’ve replaced it with a graph that just shows the amount of each individual transaction throughout the day. Have the developers ever even worked in retail? Once again USELESS. Please bring back the hourly sales curve chart so I can view when my sales spikes will be and staff accordingly.
