  • Stopped working; now it’s back!

    Said i tried to sign in too many times incorrectly after Square prompted me to update password. I’ve uninstalled, deleted, reinstalled but nothing works. No support either so whatever.

    UPDATE: After deleting the app in frustration after a few weeks, I actually received an email from Square about updates and a request to reinstall. I did that today and it’s working again. Thanks to Square for listening and please continue to support this app. It’s a real help for owners.

  • Not able to login - temporary lockout

    I have not been able to login the dashboard app on my iPhone for a few weeks now. It keep saying “ temporarily lockout - there have been too many failed sign-in attempts” I have 2 accounts I used to login using this app but both are showing the same message now. And I know the password is correct because it’s from the password manager and I am able to login using the Square app and the website. I have tried deleting the app and reinstalled still getting the error.

    I have been using this app for over 5 years now I wonder if the app is using some data that is accumulated over time in my device if that’s the case its a bug to me. Right now I need help to be able to login again!

  • Years of great use in the toilet currently

    I’ve loved using this app to be able to utilize multiple locations for years and see at a glance where my labor is, sales reports and comparisons. Some time a week ago something broke and many of us have been getting the “temporarily locked” error when trying to log in. The entire system I am very happy with, but this issue has created a very inconvenient situation for many business owners and operators. The only other option to see full day sales reports for multiple locations is on your computers web browser. I’m only adding a negative review at this time to try and help push developers to fix this, multiple calls and no change in a week!!! Update that came out on Tuesday is no help.

  • Long term user with multiple businesses

    This app is simple and allows for a quick glance of salsas performance. It feels significantly neglected and Square should be severing their high paying customers with better technologies, that’s what brought us to them in the first place. Step it up!

    I have multiple businesses and historically been able to log in/out to check on different operations. Now I’m not able to login to any of my accounts, and keep getting the “TEMPORARY LOGOUT there have been too many failed attempts for this email address” for all my accounts (my account info is being entered correctly). This is a ridiculous error and should be remedied ASAP!

  • Not working!

    This is a great app while it worked! I first downloaded the dashboard when I started using square retail with No issues! It came time to update the password which I did with the back office on my computer, then went to re- log in on the dashboard app and immediately state there where to many attempts with the email used??? I just changed the pass word and now to many attempts with only one try??? On top of that there is no reset or customer service available to help fix. Apps been deleted as it’s no longer any good. Since the switch to square retail this has been the only negative thing I have come across. Fix it Square!!!!! And does anyone notice that square never reply’s to anyone on this review board???

  • Unable to sign in

    Since switching phones i now can’t access the app. It says too many log in attempts of wrong password however i am able to log in to everything else just fine and they’re all the same password so don’t know what the issue is.
  • Temporary Lockout

    Have been locked out for the last 5 days with the error “There have been too many failed
    sign-in attempts for this email
    address.”
    Called Square customer service 3 days ago and they just told me to keep checking the app and that it will hopefully be fixed soon…changed my password, uninstalled the app and reinstalled…still nothing. So bummed, been using it for years to keep tabs on the shop and employee hours when I’m away.
    Oh well, just another casualty of Square loosing their edge.

  • Security Issue: Reveals full mobile number used to 2 factor authentication

    This app compromises security because when you sign in it displays the entire phone number when performing 2 factor authentication. This provides any malicious information with private information that could be used to compromise your square seller account.
  • Bad update..!

    Since the most recent update, I can no longer use Face ID to log into my account on the Square Dashboard app.. this is a serious problem because it means I have to stop what I’m doing to type in the password and make sure one of the employees or customers doesn’t see me enter it..! There is no point In this change and I will stop yawing this service if FULL Face ID support is not restored soon.!

  • Needs some improvements

    I’ve been using Square and this app for over 5 years. Square itself is awesome and is updated on a somewhat regular basis. This app however has not changed at all. It would be great if you could add some filters to this app reporting. Such as choosing to look at net sales instead of just gross sales. As another reviewer stated, it seems this app and it’s development has been forgotten. I use it daily, would be nice to see some much needed improvements!
