Update is over simplified and confusing

6.5.1. Is complete trash. The new UI is terrible. Needlessly complicated layout. They’ve tried to take the complexity of the website and put it on the app.
Square, please give us an optional view in settings.
How are you so out of touch with what retailers and small business people want? The only reason to use this dashboard is to check on quick sales. Now I have to go to multiple menus and scrolls to find simple information.Show lessS&S Park
Extremely difficult to read the graph
After the newest update the it became so hard to read and comprehend the graphing. There’s no dollar amounts show except on the big hours and it’s not consistent at all. I use this app to check sales in 3 stores daily and now I can see the amount they have made for the whole day but hourly makes no sense when there’s no control numbers on the graph. The last version everything was at your finger tips the moment you opened the app, now you have to scroll down to get the rest of the days information and then when you go to the graph it seems so jumbled together between this week and the week prior. We are gutted that the new update was not to your liking. Our engineers are working to rollback the previous version of the app while we work through the feedback provided about the update.New update is worse
I can no longer compare 52 week reports. I want to know how this exact Saturday did last year, not a report for the same date that now falls on a Friday. The hourly reports are much harder to decipher now too and not worth my time, before it was so easy to see what our best hour was. It’s just not intuitive anymore and really hope you’ll revert back to the way it was.Show lessleebeeskeebee
New version is a downgrade
You can no longer compare to the same day a year ago, and the interface is terrible. Why do we need an enormous header with tiny print for the actually useful information. The old version was much better.tugttw
Reverse the update!!!
I am so mad at the new update! Who needs to see every single transaction in tiny little lines with no exact numbers or times! This is absolutely the worst. I rely on hourly sales updates and now the only way is to look on a laptop!!!!!
Bring back the nice oversee able bar graph version because this is absolutely useless!
Like someone else said, if it’s not broke don’t fix it, it was perfect!

Recent change makes app almost useless.
Why did the developers remove sales per hour? We make staffing decisions based on that data. Worse, no warning removed a feature we depend on. Do you guys bother to ask customers what they want before you remove a feature? Big mistake. Time to schedule the Shopify demo. Our store pays you over 1,000 per month.Show lessbigdog_tim
New update.
I hate the new update. The old version worked great, especially the sales graph per hour vs previous week or year. The new graph is 10 times harder to read and not broken simply by hour break down. Classic example of fixing something that was not broken. My whole team used graph when preparing food and forecasting sales. Now the new one is just not readable at a glance. Hope they create an option to go back or get old visuals back since they were way more user friendly.Show lessJrtgator

The updated the look and took away a a key feature of last year SAME DAY. Comparing a Saturday to a Friday is not accurate You need same day comps. Also their new sales graph broken down to the minute is just DUMB. Maybe 10 min intervals but sometimes it takes a few minutes to check someone out. So your graph goes up and down like a name ekg.Show lesswerbick
Missing features
The forgotten stepchild of Square. This app works but hindered by missing some basic functionality. How about filter by device? I’m a fan of Square generally but this app does not seem to get the same developer attention of their other apps. I’m hoping they add more features soon.Marc10
