The ABTC App, also known as the Virtual ABTC, is an official application that provides approved cardholders with a digital version of their APEC Business Travel Card. It aims to make international travel within APEC economies more efficient and convenient by digitizing the travel card.
Once you are an approved ABTC cardholder, you will receive login credentials to access your virtual card on your smart device. You can then present this virtual card to port officials when entering APEC economies or using fast track lanes, in addition to your physical card.
Yes, the ABTC App is free to download and use for approved cardholders. There are no additional costs associated with accessing your virtual card through the application.
The app offers real-time data on the status of your ABTC. This includes updates on pre-clearance approvals, expiry dates of your ABTC, and if your passport details have been renewed, ensuring you always have the most current information.
To use the ABTC App, you must be an approved cardholder of an APEC Business Travel Card from a fully participating APEC Member Economy. You will also need to have received pre-registration and login credentials from your Home Economy.
