Useless app for new claims
App crashes when attempting to add details for claims. Has had several updates, none resolved this issue. I can only submit claims through a browser based website using a tablet or laptop. Apps never work right.

the foto part of the app produces many images which aetna claims to be unreadable. this forces the user to rescan with a different app. the app sometimes rejects PDFs. if you enjoy filling claims multiple times, this just what you are looking for.
Forgot my wallet
Super helpful when I forgot my wallet at the doctors office. I remembered I had the app downloaded and was able to to use that instead. Sometimes claims can be a little slow to load, but it is nice to not have to call customer service for every little thing and to have everything all in one place. Worth it if you have this insurance

The worst insurance company
I had a surgery that cost me 11000$. The claim was under consideration for 3 months. Multiple pending were ignored. And then I got a reply that they deny to pay due to their own consideration. No other explanation. Though this type of surgery should be 100% covered according to conditions. The worst service and responsiveness. My company already changed the insurance company.

Unable to login using mobile app
Everytime I login using mobile application it gives me error message "an error occurred while processing the request. Please try again letter". The same account when I try to login using web page works fine which means this a an application problem.

Awful app
Terrible app. Very NON-intuitive, crashes often, takes a long time to submit claim. If iPhone is in dark mode, can’t read some of the text in the app. It was made without any concern for user experience.
Useless App
Can’t submit claims, view plan documents, or look up nearly any information. Useless.
Features don’t work
Cannot submit claim using app as a feature doesn’t work. Submitted case to look into and response from IT team was to use online website instead. Obviously, I am doing that but the reason for using apps is ease of of use so am not impressed that the solution is not to use the app instead of fixing the app.

Barely functional terrible app
App is an view into Aetna, but the interface is terrible and app barely works.
Doesn’t know what it is for password keepers like 1Password.

No message center?
I keep getting notifications as if there’s a message from Aetna but when I tap the notification and the app opens, there’s no message or even a place to see messages.
Needs a Complete Redesign
This app is slow and the UI honestly feels like it was made by college students. My phone is in dark mode and some of the buttons are showing up black and very difficult to read. Submitting a claim takes almost a full minute after clicking the final Submit button.
It deserves negative stars
Literally not working. After the update, you can never login any more.

Been using it for several years and it’s full of glitches
I’ve had Aetna International for about 5 years and the app is full of glitches: 1) when you go to send your ID in pdf format the app closes down; 2) now I can’t submit claims as it always has an error message. It’s 2022 time for Aetna International to update the app to work better and have Face Id!

Keeps logging out
Have you ever used an app that logs you out every few minutes? Aetna International is the first one I’ve seen. Had to re-login every time you want to use it.
Worst insurance app so far, period
I used AIA, Blue Cross, Manual Life, Prudential. This is no doubt the very worse insurance app I have ever experienced. Miles worse than the second worse one. No just the super duper user unfriendly layout, it has bugs! In every single page almost. Find any app developers from any of the above insurance company to redo this app will increase user experience by 100% minimum! Do something!

An app from 1990? Please improve.
How come you can make an app like this? The UI and experience probably the worst ones I have had. However, this app is so critical for using the service. Please seriously consider improving it! Thanks.
