I’ve never seen an airline app that requires frequent user verification. I need to check-in from foreign countries. Verification via text message DOES NOT WORK in many foreign countries.
TK number keeps getting deleted!

Hard to impossible to find companion certificate on app
Wanted to book a flight using my companion certificate, had to go to a computer and use the website. Pretty sad app.
Horrible for travelers
Updates happen after your trip! Have to call to find out what is happening with your reservation, which may have changed days and dumped your seat!
Stop forcing options
This app is asinine! It continuously attempts to force options on users necessitating multiple times to sign in.

Super clunky
This app used to be pretty smooth to use, but now it asks me to sign in through the web every time I open it. Selecting to remember this device does nothing. Also doesn’t really work for booking flights anymore either, directs you to the website. Mostly just useful to access tickets after they have been purchased.

There are too many bigs and glitches. The user experience is terrible. I really wish they’d fix this especially since the merger.
Confusing
The old check-in was much better and easier to follow. I don’t care for any of the new changes made by Atmos. Ask for 2 step verification and still makes me pick out buses or dogs or some ambiguous object. Why have 2 step verification is you still have to play the stupid puzzle game?
Awkward App outdated functionality
At best the app is clumsy. From the point of being signed into the app it is still necessary to add your confirmation, this should be pre filled in once signed. Further to get access to the app tool it’s obscure to find them and their customer face arrangement is archaic

Alaska is pathetic
Alaskas website is poor. Their customer service is poor. They nickel and dime you worse than other airlines. And this is the treatment you get when flying first class.
The last time I flew Alaska (about a year ago), I swore I’d never fly them again. Unfortunately, they were the only real option I had for this trip. I learned the lesson all over again.
