The features of the app are good. Easy to pay, check balance, FICO, etc. Does not crash. Fast reconciliation. It’s everything you need. I hope they keep updating to keep it except.

Bring back the words “pay it” makes it easier to see which transactions haven’t been paid. Instead of going into every single one

Disappointed in Amex
Amex gives you credit and are threatened when you used your credit. My payment is 100% on time for many years, in the month of July alone I’ve paid back over 40k I have the platinum account which allows me the privilege of spending a certain amount, or atleast that was I thought, I didn’t even use as 25% of the allowed amount, they not only drop my credit limit on my platinum card, they dropped my limit on another card that had $18k all the way down to $1700 I’ve been treated like I am default on my account, my credit score is in the late 700
I am on time with all my credit card payments, I have accounts for many years and Amex can’t explained why they have done this, I will pay off the 7k I owe and plan on not using their accounts again. I am very disappointed with this company and planned on contacting the Better Business Bureau

forced banner ads in transaction history
the app used to be pretty good, amex used to have stellar service and be a premium brand. the past 2 weeks there has been ads in my transaction history for random skincare brands and luggage brands. closed all my accounts, i won’t do business with them anymore

Now they won’t let you just pay off a charge if it’s over $100 and they hid the status of those already paid. They have a terrible UX team.
Best Card
I’ve been American Express user since 1985 and there’s no better card. Nobody else even comes close to the benefits and the functionality of the website the other ways that they can help you including customer service it’s the best.
You can no longer view interest rates in app
You can’t view your APR in-app any more, only on downloaded statements. This change feels a bit shady, like they don’t want customers to easily access important info about their card agreement. Shame on AMEX.

Password issues
No matter what I do, the Amex app always fails on the password. It’s saved in my phone with Face ID, but the app regularly fails. Hard to call an app convenient when it fails so often.
