Lots of issues with Applepay when processing payments.

As soon as I switch over to Senior, it makes the purchase of my ticket with my credit card almost impossible so I have to use my Apple Pay
App is slow
I tried to use the app to book a train. It took 10 attempts. When I got to almost paying for a ticket, the train was no longer available for coach or business class. But conveniently the expensive one was available for over $630 , one way from $46 and $64z I tried calling and good luck getting through

App appears to have no useful purpose
My experience with this app is that it doesn’t work. For example, when I log in it tells me to complete my profile, yet I have done so, many time. Also, I want to BidUp but it won’t let me turn the option ON. Also, train status is always incorrect. In fact, nobody seems to know anything about the train status. I’m also upset about after-the-fact gotchas. For example, my trip, which includes segments on the Coast Starlight and Empire Builder doesn’t even qualify for BidUp because when I check eligibility it says Nope! You don’t qualify. Why not? Which segment doesn’t qualify? Both? Or is there some other problem? I can’t tell what the problem is and the station clerks and train staff don’t know either. Of course, i can call Amtrak 8 to 5 Mon - Fri, but since I’m on a train with no cell coverage, good luck with that! All in all, a very frustrating experience which, in this age of virtually instant communications, makes so sense whatsoever.
