This is the worst app I have ever used
The interface of this app is not only bad, it’s basically useless. Finding a provider is a monumental task. The results it gives you are useless.
Stop asking for reviews!
My new policy: every time an app asks for a review that’s an automatic one star. It’s intrusive and annoying. I don’t want to play your game so quit trying to force me.
Worst insurance
My A1c is 11 and you guys need further proof for my Ozempic. I feel like you guys want me to die.
PPO Silver plan
Although for 2026, my premium went up by about 110%, the coverage and the flexibility is outstanding. I have seen a number of specialists seeking relief from several conditions, I sought these specialist out myself without the need for referrals and as long as they fall within the inpatient category, I've never had a problem

Terrible idea
I have insurance for my entire family, but only my card can be pulled up. Select a family member and you get an error message requesting that you try again later. I’ve tried for weeks. My app is updated. Now what if this was an emergency? Digital only is a terrible idea.

Can’t login on mobile no matter how many times I click “trust this device”, the device is never saved. Email verification codes are not sending to my email either. Also the find a provider directory is outdated or inaccurate in terms of showing me providers that are actually in-network. Overall, extremely annoying experience with BCBSIL

Terrible at paying claims.
I had cataract surgery 9 months ago. They didn’t pay all of the bill and kept giving me the runaround. I was on the phone, on hold on and off, for an hour. BCBS said I didn’t need a waiver. I just got a bill from the eye surgery center and when so called, they said ai need to call BCBS and get a waiver. I need help and BCBS is making it very difficult. I’m going to fight this to the end, BCBS needs to pay it or tell me why they won’t pay it. The eye surgery center says my insurance company said it wasn’t an emergency. My dr told me I had cataracts and that’s why I can’t see at night and can barely see with my glasses on, what constitutes an emergency cataract surgery. That makes no sense at all so now I have to sit on the phone with BCBS to get this figured out. I can’t wait for Medicare in a few months, I would never recommend BCBS. I pay my high premiums every month for lousy service and non paid claims.

Terrible customer service
I reached my out-of-pocket maximum in August and I’ve been communicating with Blue Cross and my medical provider for 10 months and they just keep pointing their fingers at each other.
Every time I call, I have to spend 20 minutes explaining the problem to everybody, but it just doesn’t help. I’ve been on the phone one party or the other at least a dozen times and sent so many messages they can’t even be copy counted.

These are a lot higher than last place. Maybe it’s based on employees? $10 to $35 for office visits? Wow…I’m in wrong business
Server not working
Every time I want to look for a provider, it says that the server is down. I need to find a provider immediately and this is annoying. I’ve been trying for hours to find a provider in my area.
Worst service
I called multiple times to change my heath care service from Duly to Northwestern, but, unfortunately, they did not do that and as a result, my appointment got delayed by six months. I wish there were other options for us.
This sucks
