More integration with CVS Caremark please
App doesn’t show tracking number of prescription mail orders so I called BCBSMA for the first time. After various prompts to confirm my subscription, I was forwarded to CVS Caremark to provide the same information again. Then when I finally got the tracking number, it was an automated readout that didn’t pause when providing the USPS 22 digit tracking number. Needless to say, it took me 3 times to keep up and write down the tracking number. Would have saved me 10 minutes if this was just listed under our shipped prescriptions.

Total waste of my premium
Cover essential costs and dump the useless app
Disappointed
I had my premium raised over $200 a month this year. My prescription that was prior authorized through June was discontinued. My $25 a month medication is now $500 a month leaving me with the incredible increase of over $1400 a month going forward. It’s more than my mortgage. I value my h although. So I am scrimping and saving monthly toward my premiums and my medication that is life saving. It’s not sustainable. My health insurance is dictating my life expectancy. Every time we need to go to a doctor appointment blue cross blue shield is always there to cover all our health needs
Can’t sign in
Because the sign in button is greyed out, no matter what I type. What a wonderful company, I pay thousands of dollars and I can’t even access my info. I hate BCBS!!
Fitness benefit
It was fairly easy, moving through the submission process to submit a fitness reimbursement request. But it would be great to have an “upload document” option rather than only having the option to upload a photo

App Seems useless, just go to their website if you need up to date information.

Where are my physical cards??
New plan as of 1/1/26 and no cards have arrived nor have I gotten to talk to anyone on the phone. Even the online chat bot didn’t respond!
Completely useless
The most basic App functions don’t work like using Face ID and completing account information. Have to use laptop and full website to accomplish anything.

I had An account several years ago. I don’t know the email I used, the phone I used was work phone so I do not have access to that any longer. NO WAY TO SEE WHAT THE EXPLANATION OF BENEFITS IS.

This is a great, informative, functional way to deal with BCBS
App does not allow one to change location
Unfortunately, there is a glitch that does not allow one to change locations. My location is stuck 500 miles away from my home which makes it useless.

Not user friendly to the visually impaired, but could be if that had a dark mode which they don’t
App is functionally fine. It does everything it is supposed to do HOWEVER, they straight up need a dark mode. The main reason I’m using it right now is to check up on all the medical appointments I have for my cataracts, but I literally can not do that with this app normally, because, you know , cataracts. It’s a white background with light colored text, which to me looks exactly like just a blank white background. To sign in, I gotta take a screenshot zoom in on the screenshot to make sure the cursor is in the right field to start typing sign in info, tap the icon to show password so I can see what letters are being typed , take another screenshot to zoom in on to make sure cursor is ready to type in password field, type password, take another screenshot to zoom in on to make sure password is typed correctly, and then I can sign in to get met with more bright whiteness that I simply can NOT see anything on. So it’s more screenshots to zoom in on for literally every single piece of info this app is trying to show me. A simple dark mode would eliminate every single problem I just complained about in this review.
