Total Disappointment: BDO App is a Complete Waste of Time and Effort.
BDO online banking is one of the most disappointing apps I have ever used. I downloaded the app with high hopes of conveniently accessing my bank account while in the US, but I have never been able to sign in successfully since I downloaded it. Every time I try the app just keeps giving me error messages, which is extremely frustrating.
It's unbelievable that BDO, being one of the biggest banks in the Philippines, has such a terrible online banking service. The app is a piece of garbage and useless. I have tried everything, from resetting my password to reinstalling the app, but nothing seems to work It's as if the developers didn't even bother testing it before releasing it to the public.
I cannot believe that a bank of such magnitude cannot provide a decent online banking experience. It's a complete waste of time, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I will be closing my account with BDO and moving to a bank with a better online banking system.

Worse app if you live abroad.
BDO is the worse banking app I have ever used especially if you live abroad outside the Philippines and need access to my funds to pay for bills on my property in the Philippines, and to send money for medical emergencies. There is zero BDO branch here in the US to go to, no ATM as well. I just upgraded my 6 year old iPhone, now the app stopped working on both the old and new phone!!! I’m screwed. BDO please hire better app programmers and developers. You should not play with people’s access to their saving account using this app.

Worse Online Banking service
As the title said, yes this the worst online banking service ever. I opened this account due to overseas transactions as I am not based in the PH, the app doesn’t allow me to access my own account, and on the website, if ever you send/transfer money they will send you a text message that YOU HAVE TO REPLY TO, to be able to get an OTP, which defeats the purpose if you are overseas because of course we don’t carry PH simcards. So yea, runaway from this sht show of a bank. Don’t ever make the same mistake as I did.

Transaction Not Allowed… WTH BDO!!
UPDATE - BDO has 2 apps, BDO Online and this BDO Digital Banking. I contacted them about this. They said that BDO online app is the new and improved version of the BDO digital banking. I don’t understand why they have 2 apps. This just causes so much confusion. Anyway, I tried BDO Online app and I am now able to do banking transactions using my phone. I just have to reset my password. Caution - password for BDO online app will not reflect on the BDO website, so you have to maintain 2 passwords. Again, why? Anyway, at least I am now able to manage my account with my phone. Hope this helps.

It’s always giving me “transaction not allowed” error. BDO rep said to change my phones date/time setting to automatic. My phone has always been set up that way. So no … that is not the fix for the error!! For now, I am just using the website to access my account. BDO, PLEASE FIX YOUR APP!!! Is someone even looking at the complaints posted by your customers??? And please… do not implement any updates unless you have fully tested them!! So frustrating!!

It’s a crap app
I had no issues at all with BDO app for the past 5 years, and it was one of the most efficient apps I’m using especially when I’m out of the country, until it’s recent update. I have not been able to log in since July. I have already coordinated with BDO hotline many times but they were no help at all. Every time I re-install the app, I will log in and it will ask for location verification and then the error will pop out “This transaction is not allowed”

Totally useless app
So hard to log in. When you click on it, it will not give any clue what it needs, then moments later you will receive several OTP codes in succession. I tried one, then the app just shuts down and you have to start all over again. Crappy app!
Worst banking app anywhere!
I’ve been using them for over 10 years and I always think they can’t gay any worse but never underestimate BDO when it come to making thing difficult for the customers and not giving access to your money. The only ways BDO finds is how to keep the customers from accessing their accounts and their money.

Largest bank in PH
What happened BDO? “Largest bank in the Philippines” and you can’t provide a well functioning mobile banking app? It was working fine until a few weeks back I can no longer log-in. My device time and date settings are fine so I’m sure that is not the issue. I have been using this app for a while now I guess it’s time to check out other banks.

I think it's time for BDO to invest in technology. BDO app is the worst banking app ever created. Nothing seems right, it is not even tested properly before deploying to production. There is an error evey time you login..

Terrible Banking App
This is already a horrible mobile banking app, yet you've still managed to replace it with an even worse app. But at least this one works. To disable this without making sure the replacement is above its quality is horrendous business decision. Your CTO should resign.
The Worst Mobile Banking App!
This BDO Online Banking App is definitely one of the worst mobile banking app I have ever come acrossed with. They’re consistently down and out each and every time and worst of all is they do not bother to inform their customers about it. There is no way to know what is happening because they do not have any social accounts catering to customer service and if they do it is crap! They have a Facebook and Facebook Messenger that is soo detached and way too robotic and so not user friendly that it is impossible to get help not unless you email or call which definitely could take forever! It’s so useless really this app. BDO what is going on with you? Wake up BDO.

WORST ONLINE BANKING APP
I was able to do online banking before with no problem encountered. But one day, they require me to change password and update my credentials. For me, to be able to use online Banking again, I oblige to their requirement, but after I finished updating everything, I received an email stating that it was a successful update, then, I received another email which informs me that my request for BDO personal online Banking UNENROLLMENT has been approved which I never made such request. I made an attempt to contact BDO CS, but I was dismayed to know that I have to start all over again by submitting several requirements which is almost impossible to complete since I’m based abroad. I’m thinking about completely closing my account when I get back.

Account locked due to need to change password

I don’t understand whats the f problem of this app, a year ago i was trying to use bdo mobile banking but it never works for me. Now I have a new card and trying to use a mobile banking stil not f working just close this app its the worst app

Please prepare to support IOS 15 so international customers do not go through the pain of not able to access their account similar to previous IOS 14 switch. IOS 15 is coming soon

Every time I try to login, it just doesn’t do anything. I put in the login information, then a little loading circle pops up, and then the login information disappears and I’m still in the same screen.
I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app twice now, with the same result; I enroll, it says it’s successful, but I’m stuck in that “device enrolled” screen or whatever it is, so I force close the app. Try logging in, and once again nothing.
Hot garbage would be a polite description for what is fundamentally, and unforgivably, a complete failure at every level. It does nothing but cause frustration, and waste time.
BDO… hire people that actually know how to make a decent, user-friendly online banking system and website that doesn’t look like it came from 2009, and FIX YOUR APP!!!

BDO Mobile app ver 5.9 Bugs
Please help fix the BDO mobile app. 1. Login option fingerprint not working and if the user deactivate the login option it will keep on asking to reenable again once you login in the BDO mobile app. 2. If the user decided to deactivate the OTP generator setting it will reactivate again automatically once you login in the BDO mobile app. 3. Missing Security management feature to Lock/unlock debit card.

Don’t even bother
The worst banking app i’ve ever downloaded. For a company that’s considered as the largest bank in the PH, you’d think their service is atleast adequate since they cater to MILLIONS of customers. But sadly it aint the case.
Initially, it worked fine the first few times even if it had a crappy user interface, but now it stopped working altogether and won’t let me log in anymore. Checked the last time they updated and it was literally months ago.
Really BDO? This crap is so half-baked that it makes me wonder why you even launched it in the first place.
